But who hired the inept coaching staff that are responsible for on field performance???
Well that same inept coaching staff got us to the GF qualifier last year. We came 3rd on 2007. Do you remember ?
Hages has been driving this bus. He knew that we would be without HindyI, PJ, Tahu, Bubba etc and relied on the PL team to have the talent to step up and fill the holes. He was wrong, very wrong.
2009.
Suity
And we know that aint happening fish, he is probably thinking earn what I can now, as hopefully no self respecting club would hire this coach after guiding Parra to the depths of despair these last couple of years.remember people....fitzy never sacked smith in 03 or 04.....he'kk only go if he falls on his sword IMO
You are wrong , who paid overs for the coach and some of the people we retained and currently on contract one DF, nothing happens without his approval and look what paying overs has achieved, f**k all but pain.As much as you all will groan when I say this, I think that the board (including DF) should not be in the firing line here. Facts are that there is a highly paid coach and a number of high profile (and well paid as well) players who are responsible for giving away cheap penalties, offering poor ball security and a soft defensive line.
R us sure we will be around?2009 may be a bit early. i would lean towards 2011 myself. give the new coach a season to clean out the muck that Hagan has created in his stint here.
.parramatta Coach Michael Hagan Denied His Side's Finals Chances Had Nosedived Despite Suffering A Third Straight Nrl Loss Against An Understrength Manly.
........
"i Thought Tonight Was A Very Important Game For Our End Of Season Chances, In Terms Of How We Played And Also In Terms Of Hopefully Coming Up With An Upset So You Can Still Be In The Hunt After This Weekend," Hagan Said After The Loss.
"but We Said (we Needed To Win) 5 From 8 Last Week (to Make The Finals) So It's 5 From 7 From Now On In, So The Maths And The Equation Hasn't Changed To Much.
"i Don't Think We're Too Far Away From Sorting It Out ... But We Know We've Got Seven Pretty Tough Games To Follow And We're Going To Have To Win Five Of Those To Be Thereabouts.
Yeah, I agree. As much as you all will groan when I say this, I think that the board (including DF) should not be in the firing line here. Facts are that there is a highly paid coach and a number of high profile (and well paid as well) players who are responsible for giving away cheap penalties, offering poor ball security and a soft defensive line.
