I'm still hoping that we land Sims. I dont think that Mcqueen will leave souths (instead getting an upgrade).

Article in the Courier Mail this morning about McQueen and Sims doing a straight swap and Thurston being sounded out about Mcq by the Cows management.

intelligent and shrewd management organising swaps for players in order to tap into salary cap that is already committed to a player and thus not having to wait until the contract expires in order for the cash to become available..

Mr. Doust if you like i can provide you a list of about 6 players we can swap for either Sims or McQueen.

F***. Whatever. We need two forwards of the calibre of Sims and Procter. If we're not going to get them, we'd better have a plan because our pack, if not rubbish, is at least mediocre and the gaps that were there at the end of 2013 are still there.

That's before we even get to halfback and dummy half option off the bench. We need to be buying.
