We played good for 39 mins this week, an improvement on 30 last week!
That was the week before. Last week you played good for 0 minutes, the Raiders likewise until the 30 minute mark. If you'd played good last week, you'd have led by 20 before they woke up.

Moses also laughed when he was asked pre-game how they were going to stop the Raiders from putting 40-60 points on them. He knew they were no chance. He'd already given up before he stepped on the field and had to face Blake Austin.

Blake Austin has found his equilibrium in the NRL scheme of things now. He's no longer touted for Origin, he's just a solid slightly above-average first grader. Moses is at least his equal but paying the penalty for playing in a side with a lot of weak links (to borrow a phrase).

I actually agree about Austin. He's a little bit like Milford in that his running game caught everyone by surprise in his first year with the Raiders and it made him look like a world beater. Once everyone knew his plan, he had to adjust - which he's done, but he's not the origin-level star people thought.

Having said that - Moses is absolutely abysmal. He is simply not up to NRL standard. His defence is putrid. It might have been OK in NYC to score 4 tries but concede 3, but in the NRL he's exposed.

Who would you rather defend next to

Papalii or....Chris Lawrence

Moses defensive flaws rely heavily on the man inside him, unfortunately the tigers have the worst 2nd row combination in the comp. They aren't even specialist backrowers ffs

I don't know whose gap in the line Blair and then Addocar ran through to score their length of the field efforts, but whgile Addocar probably wasn't going to be caught, Blair isn't exactly Waqa Blake. Where were the much vaunted Tigers quick men giving chase, as TMM (and Blake) gave chase to a runaway winger on Friday even though leading by a mile? And where was the million dollar fullback?

These two tries were worth more than the winning margin.

That Cheyse Blair one was incredibly poor, the defence around the ruck was just non existent, one step and the bloke plods 80m and no one touches him. The FB just should not be required on that one, it was your standard early tackle count hit up from an outside back. One not known for his speed or footwork.

Yeah I agree was poor, but if it was Matty moylan who made that poor missed tackle you guys would have said a seagull would have pooped in his eye or something and put him off guard

The agenda is strong.

Agenda

Did you commend him for stopping a rampaging papali close to line last week? Probably not. But as soon as he makes a misread it's all guns blazing

Never change

Hahahaha what? I didn't even watch that game, and misread? How do you misread Cheyse Blair picking up the ball and running 80m?

Did you commend Moylan for carving your side up a few weeks ago? MOTM performance right there.

These forums have gone to the dogs, you used to be able to bag anyone for any reason and it was all good, now you bag a team for making Cheyse blair look like greg inglis and you get some fairy accusing you of having an agenda.

Imo Taylor should do a Price. Go to another club and become a trainer. He hasnt got the skills to coach first grade but he might offer something of a support role for the players.

He already had success under his belt in that capacity having assisted Robinson and the Roosters to the 2013 premiership did he not??

I think you're right - I think his days as a head coach are numbered but he may have something to offer in a supporting role. I used to find his analysis for the SMH when he was in between coaching gigs insightful.... Might be a case of being able to read play well but not able to come up with the necessary game plan to execute...

Meltdown imminent. You know shits getting serious when the fight challenges start getting lobbed about.

It was a joke, but since you can't even handle me tipping against your overrated team against a heavyweight I didn't expect you'd detect sarcasm either lol

Apparently Taylor is quite good technically, he just cant communicate well or get the team to implement his plans. They said similar things about Potter though tbh so who knows.

He's awfully cocky for a team that's only beaten tigers and knights not to mention had a soft run into the finals last year and had their ass deservedly handed to them on a plate in the semis
