When a coach has been here this long, on massive dollars with no success, it's time for a change. He should see out his contract and retire.

But full credit to Smithy, he's got the club in a MUCH better state than when he first got here. I hope he stays on in some sort of role.

Gran Final wins aside, he has a track record of getting sides to finals series and identifying and nuturing talent.

I think he still has plenty to offer and I'd love to see him stay at the club in some form or another, whether it be a gus gould type coaching director role or a head office position. I know Fitzy aint going anywhere but I think Smith would make a great CEO.
