Taylorball 2016

With Taupau leaving and Matt Ballin likely to be signed, it's obvious that Taylor is making a huge power play to continue his push to remove Farah from the club.

I'll admit that I have not been happy about all this. I always think I have reached my limit with this club but each year my limits get pushed further. I don't think there is any level of ineptitude from the Tigers that would surprise me.

However, I am curious to see how Taylorball 2016 will play out. I have heard that Dylan Walker and Chris Mqueen could be forced out of Souths? If we could secure a quality forward and centre with Farahs free cap space then I won't be so angry.

Taylor has made a huge, huge call with Ballin and if he doesn't back it up with a quality signing it will backfire massively and we will be back to the drawing board in 2017

I was certainly in favour of Farah staying but now, I certainly would wish him well if he left and especially considering what BrotherJim has suggested re, Walker and McQueen but..........

Who would sign Farah now? most teams have no doubt settled on their 2016 signings and when does training start? over the next 2 weeks for most clubs.

The talk about Walker, McQueen and Grant is all based on Burgess coming back but... Souths would have to reimburse Bath some big dollars for them to release him, that plays into their salary cap dollars, as does paying any difference in dollars if someone picks up 1 of the 3 so can Souths afford that?

So maybe, who knows? the Farah and Taylor show will just roll on for many more weeks to come.

Is Ballin fit to resume training this week? Are all contracted players fit and ready to train this week?

Finally, I found it interesting that the new CEO wasn't the one who spoke to the press regarding Taupau, why was that? Part of the stuff up perhaps.

The Taylorball has started to roll nicely with some great decisions before the season starts. Let go of Tuapau, get rid of Robbie to sign Ballin. How exciting.

Next have a video on the Tigers webb site saying how we improved a lot last year and now we have a much stronger side we will without any doubt improve again next year.

Man, Jason is as funny as a coach as Abbott was PM.

You just gotta laugh.

Apparentky the club has a heap of unhappy players.

Not surprising though. How are the players gonna feel if the guy who is captain, who has sacrificed his own salary for the club, who has never played for another club, who has been at the club longer than anyone else, gets told he has to go.

Whether right or not, the way that was handled was absolutely disgraceful. I hope Fsrah stays and in doing so, leads to some officials quitting.

Because thats where the clean out needs to occur

The #WinAsOne slogan that they are going with on social media today is just laughable. The person responsible for posting this stuff must truly cringe knowing the hate they are getting bombarded with after almost every single post.

Given they failed every single word of this seasons slogan "Unite.Commit.Achieve" I'm concerned about next season. Will win any games at all?

Ahhh, MU . . . but they did get the full stops right. There were some shuddering, come to a complete stop moments courtesy of JT and his circus.
Personally getting sick of laughing off our club's abject failures when having shit put on me by mates that support proper clubs.
The only supporters that are sadder than us are souffs supporters.
Always will be. Because they support souffs, that's why.

GREAT NEWS !!!

Taylor in his infinite wisdom with plans for the long term future signs 31 year old Ballin for two years.

In what could be the biggest BS statement ever says the Tigers where able to negotiate a great deal when all I've been hearing is Manly where desperate to off load him.

Rumors are about that in order to Force Robbie out Taylor has plans to move the current NSW hooker to lock.

If it was any other coach but Taylor I would dismiss it saying no coach would be that crazy but we have witnessed Taylor making plenty of decisions that are hard to believe.

Andrew Webster said tonight on Sportsline that Jason Taylor will be sacked in 2 weeks. The board are split whether Farah or JT goes and it looks like Taylor will be sacked making way for Cleary.

The only thing that would surprise me with Taylor is a sensible decision and a decent year

Is Cleary the answer ? I guess he couldn't be any worse but is he really that much better , if we are going to go through the whole new coach saga why not be 100% sure in getting it right. I honestly think Tovvey ticks more boxes ... great finals record , great playing record , has hooker and halfback experience, promotes toughness , has the ability to get the best out of lowgrade budget players and is a person that demands respect.

Its going to be tough and it's not pretty, but Taylor aren't stupid. He just needs time and full support of the board. Tigers will be better for it.

You have a bloody good backline just a bit inexperienced. Just need to add a couple of quality forwards and maybe one experienced back, and the Tigers will be in the top half of the comp.

Farrah is a bloodly good player but Interestingly if media reports are correct, tigers are pretty much happy to play most of his contract if he leaves. Thus other clubs could pick him up for bugger all maybe $100-300k, but no one is interested. Yet Souths could be offloading a few players and quite a few clubs a rumoured to be interested. Does this suggest that Farrah has a personality other clubs aren't willing to take on ?

Cleary or Toovey doesn't bother me, the club just has to get it sh#t together to move forward and if that means sacking that uninspiring, dull, sulking, clueless coach we have, for good of the club so be it.

Clearly isn't the answer if Taylor isn't the answer, Clearly did exactly what Taylor is trying to do in his first 1-2 years with the panthers. He cut a lot of deadwood and club legends, but he did have full support of the board and he didn't have a stubborn ego driven player that refuses to leave.
