I'll be there kaza 79, and PK and Roo can introduce us.

I'm sure that Rhino (and maybe Mrs Rhino) and Philby will be there, and hopefully
Pantherette, Cat, Cathy, BuBbLeZ, Kate, Emma, and heaps of others too.

Don't know what time we will all get there though.

I guess we'll work that out in more detail as it gets closer to the night.

I can't wait. It's going to be a great atmosphere I think. But we will all probably be
home in bed, fast asleep by lunchtime. :?

Yes Lainey, I have met you and I know Emma will not miss it either.

Imagine how good that trophy will look in the foyer next to the other two. :D

Yeah you could always message one of us with your mobile number and we could update you that way, that's if QLD don't show the coverage.

Mel,
If you are near a tv, turn it onto Channel 9 and watch it. Otherwise do as PK suggested.

The game kicks off in England at 8pm on Friday the 13th. After checking out a time zone website, I think I have worked it out that the telecast should start down here in OZ at around 6.30-7.00 Saturday the 14th. Just check your local guides or ring Channel 9 sometime over the next couple of weeks.

I'll arrive late on the Friday night most probably, and just join in on all the madness that seems to hang around while with you people... ;-)

I was talking to my bartender friend from Panthers last night and he seems to think the club WON'T be opened due to the club restrictions. :(

I have just spoken to our Penrith GM who has agreed TC's will be opened for fans to watch the game. You will be able to get a drink while watching it.

Obviously, we have to abide by the legislation affecting gaming machines during that period so other parts of the club would not be available to you during the 'closing hours'.

We'll have more details closer to the time.

That was posted on the official panthers site lainey.

I know it was but as was pointed out to me last night, Rob Weaver he is not a member of the bar staff and it will go on whether the Bar Managers want to risk it. They were supposed to open the club for the Ashes tests too but they didn't for the same reasons.

The reason i chose to copy it from the PI site is that since he has spoken to the club's General Manager and then advertised it on a public forum that there is a big possibility that it will be a goer. I know one thing about him is that he will not post an advertisement such as that if the possibility was a minor. Being that there is a fair bit of interest in this event more so than the Ashes the club may shut down all services as per usual but have the big screen running for that time only as the club is open 24 hours isn't it?

I also thought that a General Managers word had more authority than a Bar Managers as well. But hey i could be wrong as i have never experienced having a GM or Bar Managers title.

They shut down Panthers for a few hours early in the morning... all to do with the pokies apparently. The WCC game would fall in the time that it is closed, so that is why Panthers are seeking an exemption I guess.
