Seeing our dimwits can't get passed a thread title without having a panic attack here it is, a thread to discuss team 20 as it's almost certain that team 18 is Perth and 19 is PNG.

wouldn't your statement apply to perth and papua since they're not actually locked in officially then?

You're trying to start an argument but you haven't got any of the tools required.
My advice to you is stick to your lane, that is with training wheels, on a tricycle with a very big padded helmet.

And stop asking questions I am not your parents or school teacher. If you want to ask questions try a career in journalism or as a game show host.

hey you made a thread where one exists already. we know there's 3 prime and ready locations with prime and ready bids that look likely to enter at this stage however none are actually confirmed to even be 18th or 19th or 20th.

don't get upset because you didn't think it through greens, please go have your 5th redbull and 12th dart for the morning and try sharpen up.

It surely has to be NZ2. Personally I think that will already be too far away. RL is seeing a surge in popularity in Australia and NZ and we’re really chipping away at union. A second NZ could be a game changer.

I’m not even sure who’d I’d even consider competition for that spot. The other potential expansions to me are Brisbane 3, Adelaide, Melbourne 2 and the Central coast but they’re all WAY lower down the tree than a second NZ side.

here it is, a thread to discuss team 20 as it's almost certain that team 18 is Perth and 19 is PNG..

NZ Orcas, or whoever teams up with Frank Endicotts SI bid, I don't see the arlc going back to the SEQ well so soon, maybe it will be team 21, if we want to further stretch the competition, and with conferences or pools we probably can have 24 teams max and can see everyone play each other once and switch it the following season, or more likely they pool the teams to boost the derby games (ensuring more qld games H/A vs each other for example)
The comp would be very diluted depending how quick they would get to that many teams it would probably be another 2 decades away tho
As for 20th has to be NZ2, there are no other viable bidders, maybe Fiji (with the same govt stooges pushing png at the moment)


Side note..Crystal ball says as soon as govt funding is finished in PNG (a decade later), that same funding will switch to prop up Fiji

Interesting observation.. if/when PNG's funding ends, I've guessed in the past that the team would be replaced by another SE-Qld team, because that's an easy one to set-up.

However if the NRL is keen to keep that team doing something outside Aus/NZ, then Fiji is a logical relocation given they have the next biggest population, and would logistically be less challenging than PNG.
