Good to see the social media team have improved- a couple of years ago the club would have put out the announcement, “massive signing news. Found out who at 2pm.”

Sharpe and Lucas have been named in the PMXIII squad. Very well deserved

Lucas is very underrated. Poor bloke filled in at centre in 2024 more times than he expected, after being initially named either in the second row or bench. He played very well each time.
He’s set for a great 2025 as he’ll be much better for the experience.
I just hope he gets a regular run at making a starting spot his own.

I think he is my favorite player already. Hope he stays a Knight for life.

Let’s trot (Josh Mansours podcast) latest episode is an interview with Hastings

sounds like he was going through a fair bit mentally last year, I know he has to sell himself, but says he is in a much better headspace now. Wonder if he will get one last chance to prove himself

Jackson appearing on a podcast and saying he's in a much better headspace is turning into an annual event. Was the bloke in a bar podcast last off season.

Hopefully he finds himself better mentally far away from the Knights. He's cooked.

Headspace has nothing to do with his broken down legs. Hope he finds a new home quick!

Guessing that would mean Schiller plays wing

I don’t hate it, obviously shows how low the coach thinks of Cogger and especially Hastings

Smart move. A risk sure. But Fletcher is a gun talent and if we want to keep him it won’t be by playing him on the wing. Club understands it too.

I wasn't expecting that lol

'Wide World of Sports spies at Knights training have reported that the majority of the pre-season sessions have featured Gamble at halfback and Sharpe at five-eighth.'
Swear I read an article saying 7. Cogger 6. Gamble was the preferred choice based on training etc

Meh, I think it's way too soon to throw Sharpe into the halves but whatevs

Honestly, I don’t hate the idea. At least it gives us two halves with a running game, and Gamble can kick a lot further than Cogger can. Also means Phoenix can go back to no.14 which is his best spot.

AOB just needs to stick to a plan now. If these are the halves that he thinks can give us the best chance of winning the comp in 2025 (not that we’re going to win it) then just stick with them all year barring injury. The halves merry-go-round that was happening every few weeks last year wasn’t helping our cohesion as a team.
