With SKD, Amos, and M Aubusson most likely to make a return it would create a few selection dilemmas for Freddy.

What do you guys think is the strongest possible 17 to face the Warriors?

my team:

Mini
Roberts
M Aubusson
Soliola
SKD
Anasta
Pearce
O Meley
J Aubusson
Myles
Sa
Tupou
Fitzgibbon

L Paea
Shillington
Cherrington
Perrett

This would be a strong lineup and could provide different combinations by having Perrett off the bench to swap with Soliola, M Aubs and Sa around the centres/backrow.

I'd go with the exact same team, JT.

Id be tempted to go with Sa in the centres but i reckon Soliola is a good match-up against the Wariors out wide and Sa can do some damage in the backrow.

One line-up change i would make is swapping Cherro with Tupou. Toops was awesome off the bench against the broncs and that sort of impact will be needed again.

He has played about 2 full games and he seemed to have passed with flying colours esp. the game against the Panthers.

JAubs is one of the best one on one defenders I have seen for a while.......

He seems to be going great guns since him mum insisted he wear the headgear........:D

I thought we have only played one match with only one hooker and that was when he was KO'd twice and we were totally stuffed..I hope Fittler learnt from this...

Also, his defence is awesome, but can not be sustained for 80 minutes..This is just in my opinion...

1. Mini
2. Perrett (can't be dropped, been playing brilliantly. Plus he makes great meters and gets involved)
3. Maubs (great defender which is what will be needed against the Warriors big team, plus makes strong runs)
4. Soliola (seems to play well in the bigger games, this is a big game)
5. SKD (The try scorer we have been missing, and a great aerial target)
6. Anasta
7. Pearce
8. O'Meley
9. Jaubs (A dynamo, plays 110% intesity all game)
10. Myles
11. Cherro (good ball runner, greates opportunities for the backs with his off loads)
12. Sa (good ball runner, greates opportunities for the backs with his off loads)
13. Fitzy

14. Paea (IMO one of the best bench players in the game, makes a huge impact on the game when he comes of the bench)
15. Shillow ( hopijng he defends like he did last week, and puts plenty of the sticky spray on his hands and that it's not raining so he doesnt drop it 5 times)
16. Tupou (has played brilliantly off the bench this year)
17. FPN ( I think we need the extra forward in this game, going to be brutal.)

He played his best and only??? 80 minutes of footy this year when he filled in at 7 when Pearce was in origin camp...If my memory serves me well...

I know Perret, SKD and Amos can be handy out of dummy half for meters but not for service..IMO

no Roberts? no SKD? no Maubs? :?:?

apart from the three above, i'd rather Lopini, Toops to start on the bench

great impact when they come on

Myles and O'meley to start in the front row

Sa to 2nd row, Cherro to start

Grose gtfo

I meant theoretically.....

SKD for certain.....
MAubs also.......

I would have said for Grose to go, but he had a pretty good game in the context of being smashed last friday, but one good game isnt really going to cut it when we have to play the Warrior on their turf.......

I say drop Perrett rather than Grose, for Aubusson. Soliola and Aubusson in the centers is the perfect combination for this match, and allows us to play the extra bench player, instead of wasting a spot with Perrett, who has nowhere near the size possible for a winger against the Warriors. I think we should go with a line up like this, provided there is no injuries other than Riley Brown:

Sydney Roosters:
1. Anthony Minichiello
2. Sam Perrett
3. Mitchell Aubusson
4. Sia Soliola
5. Brent Grose
6. Braith Anasta
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Mark O'Meley (c)
9. James Aubusson
10. David Shillington
11. Nate Myles
12. Setaimata Sa
13. Craig Fitzgibbon
Interchange:
14. Anthony Tupou
15. Lopini Paea
16. Anthony Cherrington
17. Jake Friend

I have made a number of changes from last weeks side. I am starting with James Aubusson, due to Riley Browns injury. I added Jake Friend to the bench, for when Aubusson needs a break. I moved Sa from the centers to the second row, so I could fit Mitchell Aubusson in the side, at center. I have dropped Perrett from the side, in an attempt to keep Grose, because he is bigger, which is what you need against the bigger Warriors outfit. I have taken Lopini Paea and Anthony Tupou from the starting side, and moved them to the bench, to come on after about 20-30 minutes, to provide impact, in Masons impact. I have made O'Meley captain, which is arguable, because Anasta has been playing well with the captaincy. I have dropped Mickey Paea, in order to fit Aubusson and Friend in the squad, and obviously you need to drop two to include two.

I think that is our best possible side at the moment, and next season we will have Mason instead of Shillington, Shackleton instead of Tupou, and Brown instead of Friend. This is the most logical side, with the best possible combinations. Good luck boys, and I hope Freddie and the team name this line up, as it gives us the most chance of victory.

If Roberts is available, include him rather than Grose.

Roberts and Shaun Kenny Dowall are available.

I don't think Freddy would leave Grose in when he has them available they are both much more effective players than him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nate Myles started in the second row as you've named but i reckon he's better at prop and having Shillington off the bench with 'Pini.

The team has been named as follows:

Sydney Roosters
1. Anthony Minichiello
2. Brent Grose
3. Setaimata Sa
4. Sia Soliola
5. Sam Perrett
6. Braith Anasta
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Mark O'Meley
9. James Aubusson
10. Lopini Paea
11. Nate Myles
12. Anthony Tupou
13. Craig Fitzgibbon

Interchange
14. Mickey Paea
15. David Shillington
16. Anthony Cherrington
17. Mitchell Aubusson

Now i dont expect that to be the team that ends up playing, but if Grose does indeed get the nod ahead of a fit Roberts and/or SKD then i may just start a 'Sack Freddy' petition.
