Good luck Dog's fans. If other trial forms are anything to go by, we are 0-2 and with our drama's and your good team i can see it soon to be 0-3. Still, best of luck to you, and for the rest of the season :)

The NZ Warriors cast aside a week of turmoil to pip the Bulldogs 24-20 in a thrilling NRL trial at Carrarra last night.

The Warriors pressed the dogs line in the dying stages before centre Jerome Ropati scored with just over a minute left.

Willie Tonga bagged a brace of tires in his first game in eight months after injuring his knee twice last year and then contracting the mumps.

He showed he had lost little of the class whcih earned him QLD and Australian Jerseys in 2004 by scoring a double in the first half as the dogs skipped to a 20-6 lead at the break. Tonga threw the last pass for Davui to go over early in the match as well. Davui grabbed another try soon after to prove he'll be the ideal back up to kiwi star Matt Utai.

Warriors 24 (Fien, Wiki, Martin, Ropati tries, Martin 4 goals) defeated Bulldogs 20 (Davui 2, Tonga 2 tries, El Masri 2 goals)

Glad to see Willie Tonga make a successful return and even bag a few trys. Also surely Davui has played himself into a spot in the backline with Utai still out?
