Carinashark - u really think that Bailey was one of the best - is this a gee up? I thought he looked terible out there - I think that Bailey and Bird had the worst games on the park. I thought Rieck Galloway, Bosnich and Sullivan did OK and Peach looked better than last year - BK was very quiet

The game was tops even though we played like a bunch of drunk clowns.

I thought we pushed the pass far too much for the skill level we had at the park....with the FLAT f**kING ATTACK! :x :x :x :x

The team that took the field has hardly enough skill to get away with throwing the ball around like the Harlem Globe Trotters.

I'm hoping for a HUGE improvement for next week.

Get that dill-brain Bosnich out of dummy half and bring in ol Pat Gibson. Chuck Bailey back where he belongs - where hogging the ball doesn't butcher tries - and replace him with Franze.

AND PLEASE RIECK! STAY ON YOUR MAN!

I Agree Max01, They need to bring Franze and Gibbo back. I had forgot about Gibbo #-o he'd have to be better than Bosnich.
This team will get better week bye week.

The best bit of tonights match was the sharks running out, from there it was a piece of horse shit..
We did not look like scoring, and when we did it was lucky, and when a tigers players drop it on in goal, we still cant even score, the deadshits cant even put a hand on a friekn ball, pathetic...
Watching the bulldogs play after made the sharks match seem like PL.
We are going to get romped by the dogs, and not even Vagana returning can save us.

Listened to the game on the radio. Very ordinary and very disappointing. There is no denying that the Tigers' defence, particularly close to their own line, was very good, but we showed few options in attack. It was either go for the grubber or put up the bomb, nothing much different from last year. Same unfortunately goes for the handling, flat attack and lack of discipline. We really looked underdone and could definitely have benefitted from playing more first grade sides in our trials.

Hopefully, this will be our worst performance for the year and that we will only get better with each week. Last night though was a bit of a reality check for me and it looks like all the pundits may be right in their season's assessments of us in missing out on the eight.

Our backs were the problem tonight. Plenty of chances, but nothing to show for it. It was up to an eighteen year old prop forward to show them what a try is

you must have been watching another game as from what i could see the backs wernt given any chances, the game plan didnt allow it. If they had the ball the only thing they could do was take the tackle, they had nothing to play with as soon as they got the ball the tiges were within a metre and without running onto the ball that wont get you anywhere.

the backs played aswell as they were allowed in attack. The blame goes squarely on the game plan and im sorry to say the halves particuly(?) kimmorley, he just had no spark.

Peachey- Tried hard, made a break, with noone to back him up. I thought his defence was great.
Saleh- Didnt do anything wrong, but nothing special.
McGoldrick- Crap defence, constantly came in, instead of staying on his man, leaving Rieck by himself.
Bailey- Alright in defence. Hogged it all night in attack, pretty crap game overall.
Rieck- Didnt see a lot of ball.
Bird- Not to bad, defence has improved.
Kimmorley- Quiet.. Kicking game was ordinary.
Stevens- Great game, probably the best forward.
Bosnich- Nothing special.
Nutley- Worked hard as usual.
Lomu- Crap. Tried to throw the miracle pass to much.
Gallen- Went alright.
Hilder- Nothing special, but not bad.

Beattie- Played well, good defence.
Galloway- Played brilliant, great running, good defence, good try for a big man. Up there with Stevens for our best forward.
Isemonger- Nothing special, but not bad.
Sullivan- Great, best game i think i have seen him play at the Sharks. He looked our best hope in attack.

Overall, the performance was really up to scratch, besides some of our players. It better improve quickly or the Bulldogs better get half there team punted by next Saturday or we are going to get smashed.
