Watching the trials and keep thinking how important Nichos long kicking game is going to be finding touch from all these inside 40 penalties

cant wait! each one of those lads will be going out there to play the game of their lives
still 20+ top 30 squad members waiting for next weekend..
it'll be good to see what we have waiting in the wings and who has what to offer

if its good enough for fitzy its good enough for me
Craig has blown me away with his approach to the club, whether it be from media appearances to player relations and i think hes's heading us into unchartered waters as a club

a dozen+ players there ill be keeping a keen eye on
Taumoepeau, Samrani, Pele, Finau, Rivett, Lualua, Stonestreet and Colqhoun, pretty much them all up up

exactly what used to bother me was how our long kicking game was gonna provide
Trindall out plays Moylan there but its still not hugely impressive
but then, i thought, if we've thought of it, im sure the coaching staff have already thought of it. and hopefully they've sussed it
hopefully its another feather in Nichos bow that he's yet to unleash

Ricky Stuart, king of the touch finder, anyone else remember Ross Conlon? Place kicked for touch. Was effective, Wazza coach ifrc.

Looking forward to hopefully a completely different style of play to what we’ve seen the past few years under Morris/Flanagan.. excited to see some of these young guys go around

Interesting that Fitzy listed Stonestreet and Colqhoun as players he’s really interested in observing!

One of two things come from this trial for sure.

1. We win and the Fitz fluffies (media included) will have us winning the comp.

2. We lose and the old regime (media included) will be saying he is a rookie and is under pressure.

Both of which are total bollocks. Enjoy the game.

yeah dont think the media will have a dig just yet. They seem to like like pumping up his tyres more than anything.
