Capewell is a certainty imo.

He was that good in the first semi, Flanno would be stoked to have him to choose. Can't see him not picking him.

Beale will be gone.

I think both Beale and Capewell will play. Going by the reports Taga hasn't even done full contact on the injured shoulder yet. Do we risk playing a guy off the bench that will only use his shoulder at training for the first time in over six weeks just DAYS before the Preliminary Final? That's a huge mental obstacle to overcome in just a short timeframe.

I'm in the minority here, but I'm happy to have Beale on the bench. Chads been out of form for weeks and we can't risk another poor performance from him. Give Townsend 20 minutes to show Flanno he can find his old form, or he gets hooked. I know some of you have been saying Capewell's played centre in NSW Cup, but the NRL is a whole other level.

It's risky enough to hook your first choice halfback, but to also move a rookie to a position he hasn't played in the top grade aswell? We'd be asking for trouble.

Let's hope his shoulders were causing the massive amounts of drop balls. But if what your saying is correct, he probably should sit this game out

This is where Flanno needs to be decisive. You would think that if Taga does play it will be for 20 mins or so. I haven't seen enough from him this year to justify his selection with time out of the game, I could justify Beale for utility value alone.

Really couldn't agree less. Beale was worse than a passenger v Raiders, a liability. Gave up the pill with 30 seconds remaining. f**k that. Plus Capewell covers any backline re-shuffle. Possibly better than Beale going by the form of both in their last start. Also Lewis, Graham at a stretch. Anyway not our call. Beale's an international, a better player than what he's shown recently. Time to turn up. Taga inclusion for 10 mins either side of halftime would be enormous for us, but doubtful. JSL supposed to be the back-up for that role, what a disappointment. Team probably lining up as named 1-17. That's still a winning squad. I'm feeling positive. Up up!

Just. f**king. Win.

Has squad looks complete with Taga replacing beale. But to have a full team 1 win from a grandfinal is awesome.

Win Please FFS!!!!!

whats all this media talk about Val Holmes having a virus and not training yesterday ? there's another factor or smokescreen, however you want to look at it.

I read that too, Tom. I wouldn't think there's any smokescreen. No point smashing the bloke before such a big game, particularly when his recovery will be compromised. Rest up and give us some of those runs up the middle Val!

Capewell.

It's not a massive bench, another big ask for Prior and Fifita. Then again I suppose we'll be boosted with the return of Gallen and Graham playing a full game.

Inferno I reckon we don't want a big bench this week.

We need to do the hard stuff for 60 mins. They have to tire.

3 very mobile quick moving benchies there.

We weren't big against Canberra.
We played big.
Ripped in and played with speed. Tamou, hannant and Bolton can get tired and lazy around the ruck, like paulo and Boyd did.

Tackle like men possessed and attack with speed and direction

The stage is set for the Chad to have a big one.

All eyes will be on JT. Hopefully the presence of Beale on the pine poses the threat of being benched again, and he will be extra motivated.

I still support him shaving his head, so he's not distracted with hair maintenance.

I reckon Barba will have a cracker of a game... particularly against those tired forwards in the last 10 of each half.
