I think there will be a few minor tweaks to cater for Bailey's return:

1. Ionghi
2. Ado-Carr
3. Penisini
4. Lomax (will play on the wing)
5. Simmonson (will play inside Lomax)
6. Brown
7. Hawkins
8. Williams
9. Lussick
10. Paulo
11. Lane
12. Kautoga
13. Hopgood

14. Smith
15. Doorey
16. Tuivaiti
17. Guymer

Samrani unlucky to miss out but also a good thing to ease young players in a few games at a time only.

Simonssen only played 40 in cup, i think they'll work him up to 80 before bringing him up to firsts.

Think we probably stay 1-17 as we ran out on gameday (Williams/Kautoga starting). Joffa probably the only one at risk of missing out as he didnt offer much from an impact perspective. Didnt watch cup so dont know who would be next up, assuming Guymer

Tuivati has been good, future starting prop. But there would be some good reasoning behind it.

Like a "rest", with some nsw cup time, which wouIdnt be unusual for a rookie forward - it's a big jump physically from flegg to NRL in an offseason. Plus he has only been getting limited NRL mins, so also wouId need some more game time for fitness which he gets in NSW cup.

Plus Keir gives coverage for edge.

Its okay, you are allowed to say you disagree with a decision, you don't always have to find the reasoning to defend.

Disagreeing with a decision or a selection doesn't mean you hate the coach or the club, it's okay.

We put in for old boys day. I'd be surprised if they do it two weeks in a row.

I don't think Manly hitting 50 is out of the question.

Tuivati dropped? He's been one of our best forwards! For Dan useless merkin Keir.
I don't think useless is correct, he has been one our better NSW cup players last few years.....but yes older, fairly "unexciting" type player....

I say his "skill set" fits into the style Ryles wants in our pack, mobile, hard working players. Type of player Storm have used...

Anyhow, Keir's 41 tackles at 95%, last week is probably a good indication at what Ryles is looking for....

But I don't disagree. I see the logic behind Sammy not being picked.

He is a rookie who has just turned 20, playing prop, the hardest position to play. I am guessing they have decided for his development now needs a "rest".

Anyhow, he has also only played 18 mins, 20 mins and 17 mins, for a dude his size, what do you think this will do for his fitness?

He didn't drop him for Kier he dropped him as Joe went to the bench and we needed a second rower on the bench as we already had Smith and Doorey.

I also agree that him going back to cup will be good for his development. Samrani also has dropped down I assume also to work on some things.
