Yeah bit of a surprise with Tuivati but I see what he's done there.

Russell or Simonsen in wasnt a surprise.

My concern is who is going to mark Haumole out wide?

Would be great if we can continue how we ended the last game with near perfect defence..

Plus less errors...

Exactly what I was thinking.
Defence and handling errors. Attack will take time, especially with our main playmaker out injured, but if the team can learn to defend well no matter who is absent from the team it will help us go a long way in terms of developing as a team.

We probably won't win this one, but I do hope to see more of the toughness, effort and resolve that we saw last Sunday.

Just gotta get it into Penisini's heads that he needs to trust his inside man more.
Stop creeping infield so much and letting your opposite man get on the outside. He doesn't have the speed to recover from it.

The problem is Brown turns his shoulder in which causes Penisni to follow.

Last weekend JAC rushed in and put pressure on the centre which caused the error..After Brown and Penisni came in..

I think the combination of Penisni and JAC will work.

I would really like to beat Manly.

Is this the team to do it?

I certainly f**ken hope so!

Me too mate.
But geez, I always look forward to games, but this is one that I am not excited about watching. Brookie has always been a tough joint to play at for us. And their fans are absolute f**king wankers, which is why I don't attend there anymore.

You're most likely correct. A win last weekend would have been great for team morale but that win is going to have to wait, maybe for a while. They got a sniff but lacked the direction and finesse. It will come.

I’d leave slow mo Joe out and pick big Sam. Give Doorey a few more minutes.
Keir isn’t first grade level imo. Poor in contact, slow and doesn’t offer anything in attack.
With the club making Joe’s 200th a focus of the game, I don’t think we’re dropping him on game day..

Avg JOffa still in team yay.
I fear we will be zero From 7 to start the year. A terrible team list. Once Moses is back, I’d give a young 5/8 a go. Lynn…. ? Anyone but the current fraud Dylan brown.

If they go close against Manly then I feel the first win will be against the Dragons. Hopefully the effort against Bulldogs will give them confidence. However let's not hope Todd Smith does Atkins did to Canberra with the six again calls and sin binning, then its a repeat of 2018 when they score 40 in the first half

Joffa I assume will be rotated out of the squad sooner or later if Sam keeps putting his hand up..

Brown....
The team has to be working in the background now to let him go early and free up some cap space for the rest of the year..
