Seeing that it’s not a sudden death game I’m not too fussed about the selection of Jake Arthur seeing that Nathan Brown is underdone and Cartwright is a little erratic in these type of games.

I kind of understand the delaying of suspension for May. Imagine doing something in October 2021 and the NRL had 25 rounds to give you a suspension but wait until the start of finals. I know the court case only just concluded but they could have already given him a week or 2 earlier in the year after looking at the footage for bringing the game into disrepute

Parramatta play there best football as underdogs.

Anything above $3 they are good value to cause upset.

Though anytime they are a $1.10 favourite its danger signs.

I don't think Brad is dropping his son for the rest of the season.

He wants him there on GF day to try and win a premiership together.

Dunno what some of you sad sacks are worried about. This is just a GF preview. Only the Chooks are a smoky of spoiling the party.

How good would it be? The build up would be epic.

After the reduced capacity decider of 2020 and then the one in Brissie last year, would be awesome to welcome back the first Sydney full capacity GF since 2019 with a Battle Of The West. Build up between Homebush and the Blue Mountains all week would be next level...

Glad Nathan Brown's in the mix, on the edge of selection for these big games as he should be (if fit and motivated.

Not concerned at the cut and paste squad at this point of the week... but hopefully by game day Coach Arthur sees the merit of going into this game with a four-forward bench (Cartwright or Brown in for Jake Arthur), as he did for our recent victory over the Panthers.

And I'm a fan of the recent gameday swap for Niukore starting and Matterson coming from the bench after 20mins too.

But gee, that Penrith starting back is quality on paper... if we can weather the storm of the first 20mins, then it will be game on. Going into half time equal or even ahead will start to give the Panthers a sinking feeling - and then it's a matter fo whether we'll have the petrol and the smarts to keep that up through the second 40mins.

Deserved favourites but it’s a stupid price. The value is definitely on the Eels.
