If people are backing the coach then they agree with me. It's the same coach who picked this week's team that picked last week's team and all the teams last year and before that, right back to round one 2014. He's not an idiot. He probably even knows better than we do. Honestly I would've had Opacic in the starting side last week (Blake wing) but Arthur's also has a responsibility to develop his juniors, whereas I just want to see us win games. We've done plenty of that under this coach, especially since 2018.

So having cover for edge back rowers which is 2 positions is more important then if lost a 1-7.... More chance of 1 of 7 backs being injured then 1 of 2 edges.
On a percentage based theory it makes no sense.

Well Cartwright also provides cover for the backs, however poorly. Once he came in to cover second row there was no point having another bench spot to cover the backs. Teams can play just fine with 16 but 15 is a bridge too far.

Everything he does makes sense. You think it's awesome that Cartwright was picked instead of Arthur but don't understand why he wasn't picked last week. The reason was we already had cover at edge forward in Matterson. This week he is gone so our injury cover needs to include edge forward as well.

Or do you think Coach Nepotism would be off his kid after half a game? Which is more likely?

I am not sold on JA ever being an NRL half. I watch that Amone kid from Dragons and he looks dynamite.
I just am exceptional at spotting talent. Why shouldnI begin to doubt myself now ?
I am truing to work out how JA can make it. Base his game on Scott Hill??

Your thoughts on the player are irrelevant. What matters is how the club feel about him, and for team selections, the coach. But yes, Talatau Amone is more physical than Arthur. He is very flashy. I hope they can get him the space he needs in first grade.

Needs to bulk up to try and become a Wade Graham type backrower on an edge with a passing and kicking game.

Thats his best hope i reckon.

Graham was pretty skinny when he started at penrith in the halves and then moved into the forwards he obivously had more ability i reckon then JA though.

I am telling you and others on here my opinion. You can have yours also. It might be right and it might be wrong. It's hard getting them all right.
The club should have a better record then me. I'm just a deadbeat.
