Is AAMI Park a good venue to watch RL

It sure is a great venue to watch RL from and one of the top 3 or 4 in the country, but for whatever reason it just doesn't have the same great vibe Parra and NQC stadiums do. I don't know what it is, maybe that weird bubble thing or those ugly green seats? But whatever it is it just doesn't do it for me.

Yeah I know someone will say it's because of all those damned Mexicans down there, but no it's the stadium. Has all the bells and whistles, but lacks zhoosh appeal somehow.

Green outside of nature, who said that was a great decorative colour run a muck with?

I made a statement in response to people suggesting that if we lose to the Storm we are likely to have a shit season. @TheRam ignored that context and made a different point entirely.

The point is that until the finals no game counts more than any other. This weekend's game, for example, doesn't mean any more than last week's or the round one game. It doesn't mean more after last week's loss than it would have if we'd won. It's just two points, as you imply.

That is where you are completely wrong. Should I explain it to you and why?

1 - Taking 2 point off someone who is competition for a spot your wanting is as good as 4. If we feel we are a top 4 side then taking 2 points from Souths or the Roosters or whoever else is fighting for those spots is better then taking 2 off the West Tigers. This is just basic logics. A simple equation. It also effects points differential which is something you like to use as a tool for who is the best sides.

2 - It gives you confidence and the opposition fear/ doubt. Plus a game plan that you know works. Doubts makes people nervous and more prone to playing bad.
Think of Souths. They have flogged us the last heap of times. Lets say they belt us twice more this season and we have to face them in the finals. Do you think they will adjust their game plan? NO cause it works. We would be the ones having to change our style knowing we keep getting our pants pulled down.

So 2 points isn't just 2 points in my eyes.

Anyone heading down to the game? I got flights and sessions at the wave pool for a birthday present and got lucky that the eels were on the same weekend. So far I am 2 from 2 losses at AAMI Park.

Enjoy the wave pool but dont go anywhere near AAMI park until Sunday please.

Proud of the boys tonight. It's a more important 2 points as it also denies a side who we hope to finish above a crucial 2 points. It's like a 4 point win. Also dents their for and against twice as much. Out 14 point win gives us 28 points difference.
