Ryles hasn't got the Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V working on his keyboard just yet as he fiddles around trying to find the balance of youth and experience, so I expect to see some changes this afternoon.

1. Iongi
2. JAC
3. Penisini
4. Lomax
5. Russell
6. Drown
7. Hawkins
8. Paulo
9. Hands
10. Williams
11. Lane
12. Matterson
13. Hopgood

14. Smith
15. Doorey
16. Tuivati
17. Offa

18. Dunster
19. Mataele

But then again, what would I really know as a dumb fan.

I like it. It looks like (dare I say it) more like a BA team.

Problem is the inexperienced players have performed better than some of the experience. They need to step up. Agreed with JAC and Matterson coming back.

That spine is very inexperienced.

Unfortunately it's going to have to be inexperienced for a little while. Even when Moses comes back it's going to be inexperienced.

We currently don't have the luxury of bringing players off the bench as our starters have seemingly given up. The young guys may as well get the reps in now.

And then if the opportunity arises we'll have to recruit externally for experience as we have done with Williams, Lomax and JAC.

As a dumb fan I'd make even more changes:
Fb: Papalii
Wg: JAC & Dunster
Ctr: Samrani & Lomax
5/8: Iongi
Hf: Hawkins
That backline has some speed and maybe Hawkins has a better kicking game than Volkman which has been disappointing.
Fwds: Dunno all are gash atm with very few looking any good except Smith, Williams, Tuivati & Lane. Hopgood tried hard but was disappointing so deserves another start based just on effort as compared with other selections who are earning money under false pretenses. Get rid of the starting props for a start and bring others in but who I can't say.

Ryles won't drop Brown.

I think the only change to the 1-17 listed will be the Fox and possibly Hawkins. If we're going to make changes, I suspect we won't make too many within the short time period after the game. I will be intrigued to see who fills jumpers 18 to 22 though.

Its Old Boys day on Sunday arvo hence why there wearing the 1986 James Hardie Heritage jersey this week.

Could we get Price, Sterling, Cronin & Kenny out there to pull us off the canvas.

I reckon Pricey would still smash a few of those merkins into next week and then we should get free a HIA after 15 mins once he knocks himself out.

And we have won every "Old Boys day" game we have played at Commbank Stadium i am led to believe.
