I'm always hopeful... until such time as Papalii and De Silva are actually better players in their positions.

I’ll grant you at the moment Hawkins over Papalii, but also with Moses it’s understandable to have the different style with Papalii.
And even then and definitely with Lussick/TDS are you suggesting there’s a noticeable difference between the 4 of them? At least enough to ignore the fact that Papalii and TDS are more likely to improve than the other 2 will?
They’d be such nothing changes to use as a basis for this hill you want to die on.

I’ll give you the out if you think it’s because you think those two have been thrust into NRL too quickly, but then I’ll also give you the spoiler that with the way our 2026 squad has shaped… it’s going to be same situation next year.

No. I very much agree that the younger two should develop into better players than the older two.

Lets just hope the boys play with the same effort and heart they did last week. If we complete at the same percentage as we did last week and tackle well - the team will have a great chance to pull another win. Regardless of what people necessarily think about the squad

Couldn’t disagree more. He chose to leave us for more money. TDS needs all the game time he can get.
