I hope BA actually interchanges the two hookers, rather than leaving Hands on the bench solely for injury cover. Would be good to see some attacking imagination in the nine position for a change.
Agree, i'd like to see Hands on the field in the last 10-15 of the first half, i think his energy and directness will make a difference around the ruck against tiring forwards at the end of the half, especially in the early season when players are struggling for full match fitness.

He can stay on the field until around the 60min mark, and then bring Lussick back to finish the game.

Is he allowed in the sheds with the other players at half-time?

No he is still in rehab after a knee reconstruction. Poor bastard has had a horror run with injuries over the past couple of seasons. I can understand him not wanting to rush back.

His mother told me in the middle of January
Pretty much back to normal. Sees the surgeon again in 3 weeks for a return to full contact. He’s loving it and Parramatta are very professional and hands on. The surgeon is saying round 2 or 3 for him.
He hasn’t lost much speed which is a blessing! He has been in the top 3 in all the testing
Old mate @Tiger5150 tells me his bestie Stefano says Parra are unprofessional when it comes to injuries

It’s not impossible given most of our middles can do big minutes but for Hands to do 2 stints but not start, takes up 3 interchanges. So I think it’ll be a case of Lussick taking the brunt for first half to 50 minutes then Hands comes on with his skill set, or alternatively Lussick goes madman defence for first 30 then Hands plays 50. Neither of them are ideal 80 minute hookers but also both of them can play long minutes.

On an aside after rewatching our trials, I think Hands was the most impressive, just pipping Russell

All Jokes aside. I reckon we finish top 4 and give this season a real shake. I can feel it in my gut

With a better run with injuries / suspensions we're a top 4 side, we lack depth, which sucks, though less this year than last I reckon with there being some genuine competition for bench forwards.

Yep, merkins thinking the number of bench spots or minutes are the limiting factor miss the point. The true currency is the number of interchanges.

The majority of teams lack depth. It’s like the opposite of the Wilsons.
