Prior's in form and Robinson has been stable, yet unimpressive. Mexico isn't first-grade ready.

Team sheet is very logical and hard to argue with.

Apparently Leutele is in doubt if he pulls out are we bringing up new centre or does Ayshford get the gig and we select a new bench player

3 options have been looked at.

1)Gards to fullback, Gordon to Centres.

2) Ayshford Centre, debut for a forward.

3) Debut for a young back.

Depends on the forward (Sorensen maybe?) however I would like to steer clear well away from option 2.

I'd say it also depends on the outside back debutante but I'd be happy with option 3.

I'd like to see Penani on the bench, surely he adds more than Poli and Lichaa? He would also cover for the halves in an injury.

With nothing to lose we may as well give Holmes a run at the back. Gordon to the centres and blood someone on the Billy Sting, If we have anyone left.

I'll have a go on the wing if they need me, Im free on saturday but only after the grocery shopping is done and my helmet is taped on super tight.

That makes more sense than bringing Gards up. He has no upside and will be gone from the club in a few weeks.

I will give you one thing, you are consistent in wanting rank average players promoted into the first team.
First it was finding a spot for Stapo, even suggesting him to play centres, and now Penani.
He is not, and will never be a first grade player.
He doesn't back himself as a half, and is not a hooker.

Go with a young winger, this way Feki gets a crack in the centres.

Like to see Fek have a run in the centre. Stick with Holmes and another young back out wide. Gordon fb and Wright with Fek... Like the way Shep is working giving Holmes a chance as fb on offence last week.

Gardner promotion is logical, and I think it would be valuable to give Gordon time in the centres. Towards the end of his contract, it might be a positive way of bringing Holmes into the fullback role. It's at least a decision that goes somewhere rather than running Aysh and debuting someone who isn't ready.

P.S. Don't agree with your assessment on Penani, cb. I think he'll be a valuable back-up half/hooker in the oncoming years. Don't think he'll settle in as a starter, but will fit the role that Townsend filled the last few years...able half who can do the job in a pinch.
