It’s not your front rowers that are driving your attack. In fact I’d say there is something of an inverse relationship between attacking ability and defensive ability, at least for most middle defenders. I know Leota, JFH and even Yeo have never troubled our middle defence. It’s always been Edwards and To’o. From what I’ve seen it’s the same when Penrith plays other good teams.

But JFH and friends are great at limiting opposition go forward.

I have. The go forward comes from the back five, allowing the lightweight pack to work hard over 80 minutes. It suits the post-Covid rules perfectly. Right place at the right time. It’s how I’d build a roster if I could build one from scratch.

Don’t be so insecure that you need to come into someone else’s forum to argue about your team. Just because they won the comp doesn’t mean you know anything about footy. It doesn’t even mean you’re not a loser yourself.
