if logan brings his form from the start of the season the loss of shillington for logan is actually a gain
Bollocks, Shillo has been a mountain of strength each and every game bar one, maybe 2 average games. Logan has played averagely each and every game bar one, maybe 2 awesome games.

Shillo is a massive loss

The LOG is starting to look lethargic and just plain old...The young bull(Shillo) is as you say a big loss , Would you like to see the mongrel joyce released into the fray, wound up to the eyeballs.

Lets see how Logan performs on the back of a SL stint, if he cant come up with the goods, next time an opening arrises in the front row, i say release this ball of energy in Daniel Joyce and see what happens

I hope purts asks for a release and its granted

Honest question as im not sure which side of the fence you sit on, im tipping the latter but:

because you think he's beind dudded and would rather see him elsewhere applying his talents to a side that appreciates it or because you dont want him on our books?

Shillo is too inconsistent IMO he was sooo rubbish against manly dropped the ball like 3 times and gave away penalties

Im suprised ( pleasantly ) furner didnt go with the experience of Purts , Purts must be gutted to miss out, maybe he is rueing the decision he made not to join Melbourne.

Im happy Vidot is getting a chance and Im also rapt that joel is on the bench , he has been killing it at SL.

I just hope people dont lynch Vidot or Furner, more so I hope there is no need to lynch anybody after we towel up the knights

we cant expect Vidot to have a blinder as its his first game in top grade, hope he can read the play in defence which kelly purtell couldnt do. The forwards will go well if they just hold onto the ball.

even if vidot doesnt set the world on fire,he should be kept in FG for the remainder of the year

mountain of strength? hardly.

he's had some good games but so has logan. Logan's form had stagnated in his last few games and was rightfully dropped. Like brimmer said, Logan bends the line far greater than shillington. I think his dropping to reserves will really motivate him to make a great impact. Don't forget Logan has easily been the club's best forward since he arrived.

Shillington hits the ball up for 116 metres per game on average. His workrate alone is a massive loss.

Both. I dont think he is a bad player but i dont want him getting in the way of the younger backs and forcing one of them to leave. Also he is on a fair quid and that would be nice to spread around dugan, croker etc

Why has furner moved monaghan to partner with graham?
Croker and graham seem to developing an excellent pairing, especially in attack.
I would have thought playing vidot next to monas would have been best due to his experience. Plus I would have liked to see monaghan marking macdougall.

I think the fact that vidot and croker have played a few seasons in TYC and etc together.

besides i think monas doesnt really trust the tyc players coming through, which is fine considering there rookies. kinda hard for a young guy to improve if he rarely touches the ball.

Good point actually... Monas does appear to keep the ball a bit much this season... Although that has been improving... I'm happy with the change of sides... Experience on one, youth on the other... Should be interesting to see how they go.

Yeah I'm real excited I haven't really seen Vidot yet so I'm pumped if we win this the skys the limit!

looks like common sense has prevailed and Vidot will partner Monaghan on the right side of the field.

There's going to be an air-raid in newcastle tonight
