9. Carter
10. Grant
11. Stewart
12. McQueen
13. Turner

14. Cody
15. Clark

those charges could hurt during the next few weeks. f**k

so is mcinnes still injured??? what's going on with him???

Well Keary will only miss 1 week. We should be able cover him.

We need to learn how to win without Issac too, it's good practice for us for next season too.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Carter goes at hooker.

yeah well if keary, luke and mcinness are unavailable, then i'd like to see this:

1. Inglis
2. Johnston
3. Walker
4. Auva'a
5. Goodwin
6. Sutton
7. Reynolds
8. George Burgess
9. Carter
10. Tyrrell
11. Stewart
12. McQueen
13. Clark

14. Grevsmuhl
15. Turner
16. Grant
17. Tom Burgess

I reckon Turner would start with McQueen at lock. Clark back to the bench with Grant, Tom and Brown. Brown I'm sure has trained hard in the background and has been 18th man a few times and I reckon Madge will give him a go.

Cody Walker not playing for the bears today, some speculation that he may debut against the dogs.

Luke should fight his charges. If he wins;good luck to us--if he loses I wouldn't have him back this year--I'd ask him to pack his bags;FOREVER!!I'd go with Carter & McInnes if this scenario evolved.

I've never been a big fan of Issac as he's let us down often at vital times.

I was very critical when Luke got the nod over Peats & Koroisau;forcing two excellent young players out;Peats a Sths junior.
Issac never seems to get the message.I accept that there's probably not much between his ears; but he should at least have a footy brain.

I'd rest JS & give Cody a run--I'd look forward to that!!

I don't think ive ever seen anyone so against Issac Luke especially not a Souths supporter!

You're awfully critical on someone whos been one of our best players over the last 8 years who's helped us to the finals.

If you want McInnes and Carter playing instead of Issac you're pretty much saying you don't want us to have a chance of going back to back.

Issac may do stupid things and it is frustrating but he puts in 100% with everything he does and we will definitely miss his presence in the team next year.

Issac is a great player but you can almost count on him to stuff up when it matters most.
He's done silly things over the years at all levels. It appears now that our usual, very effective combo has been put at risk again.Arguably our second most valuable player could be MIA again for at least 3 wks.

Luckily last year we managed to win the comp without him on the field.Thank goodness Koroisau stood up!!

As I said;if he fights it & wins----fine,great!!!He should definitely fight the charges though IMO, ,as on the surface his sins don't look all that serious to me.However,Issac has an unsavoury record which will be held against him---so he very probably has a very substantial chance of losing due to his poor history.

If he loses he'll cop possibly 5 wks.If Carter performs well in those 5 wks I'd definitely keep him there.

If we're still in the running at that stage is Madge going to alter a winning combo for a player who hasn't played for 6 wks; & is leaving the club anyway!!

Wow, without isaac we don't win a premiership, it's a simple as that.
Last year the 2 biggest opponents against us winning a title were roosters and manly, once they were out of the way the bulldogs were a mere formality.
Isaac luke played out of his skin against manly and roosters in the finals. We built our win over the roosters on the back of forwards aggression, we played a pack featuring the likes of jwh, moa, guerra, cordner, Napa and a little someone named sonny bill - Williams and we literally smashed them of the park and it was isaac luke leading that charge. Unfortunately that aggression come at a cost and he was suspended, but once roosters were beat the job of securing title 21 was that much easier

Not only has he been Souths best for 8 years and helped turn us back into a force, he has been the constant player in a new Zealand side that has become the first nation to displace the kangaroos from top ranking nation in almost 40 years

He is our second most valuable player--a brilliant player.

But he will be no help at all over the next 3 wks when we encounter 3 of our toughest games to make the top 4!!

Look;we need him,no doubt. But as well as being a great player who can win games,Issac can be a liability.

Surely he knows by now that the SC is out & that dumping people on their head is not OK!!

Unfortunately,Issac doesn't think before he acts.

Hahaha.

If Sutto doesn't play Madge would most likely put Stewart to 5/8.

i don't really like stewart at five eighth. if keary and sutton are both unavailable, then i wouldn't mind them trying cody walker whilst the other 2 are out. who knows what injuries happen later this year. it wouldn't be bad for him to get a bit of experience in case there is some bad luck with injuries later in the season. i also think at full strength, glenn stewart should play lock, with sutton and mcqueen as the starting 2nd rowers. mcqueen usually plays better out wide where there is a bit more space to run into. he can use his speed better and run onto the ball with speed into the holes like a centre does, especially when attacking the tryline

i gotta agree with this. i don't think he meant to give away the penalty. i reckon it was an accident. cam smith and issac luke are the top 2 dummy halves in the game, and without luke the chances of going back to back is reduced big time! we can win games without him, but i want him back for the big finals games
