I see other sections are doing their team of the decade, and even though the decade actually goes from 2001-2010, who are we to argue.

Probably the most contentious spots were fullback and where to play Macdougall and Kennedy. I put MacManus on the wing, basically because I think he and MacDougall formed the tightest defensive right side we have ever had at the club in any era. To be honest my memory of 2000 to about yesterday is pretty bad. Anyway...that team is winning the comp, no problems at all. NFI about the other bench spot...

Also consider Parsons and Peden. They were part of the 01 GF, so you would think majority of the side would be made up of those players with a sprinkling of more recent talent.

Fa'aoso? Taia? Wicks?

Have they really done enough to earn a spot given the teams we had in 2000 and 2001?

Wicks has really put in the hard yards this season. I did struggle to think of another prop to name and I am a bit sceptical of the Knights front row early in the decade, guys like Perry etc. were helped along by BK, Bedsy and Joey IMO.

As big a cream puff he was at times, I do not see how you could put Taia or Wicks in front of Perry. How many Rep Front Rowers have we had during this decade? He did some dumb things at times, however he did do some good stuff for us as well.

The Knights 2000 team was probably one of the best sides the Knights have had IMO.

No Parsons? He was our best and most consistent front rower in the 00's imo
