I reckon O'Dwyer can handle the pressure of being put into the starting line up in round 1.

I don't think he will be there nor have i seen him play yet but he looks the goods already.

And really i hope James Webster doesn't play 1st grade this year...He is ok but nothing great...Maybe letting go Dunley was a mistake as he has a few years left in him.

His service out of dummy half is 2nd to none, even Morris. Always hits the player moving forward.
I rate him!
He has a go in defence for a small bloke and he is safe as houses out of the ruck. Very rarily makes a mistake, and often makes the right decision to go himself when it is on.

Don't get me wrong Morris is my choice any day, but Webster won't let you down, and if he is on the bench you have the option of putting Morris to 5/8 if there is an injury or poor play. He played some top shelf footy their last year.

Anyone who is putting Peek in their team is dreaming.

Not because he doesn't deserve to be becuase he surely does, but unfortunately the big fella is expected to miss some footy with a nasty ankle injury!

BTW O'Dwyer has obviously been thrown into the trials to see if he is worthy of a contract. That does not mean he will walk into our starting team. :roll:

The kid needs to find 5 to 10 kgs before realistically pushing for number 13!!

players like tsoulos, armit and witt will get a go through injury, but i can't see them lining up against the bulldogs. and i don't expect smith to bring thorman into the team right away

with more power in the forwards and wagon at 5/8th, widders can be used more efficiently in his natural role - running it hard and out wide creating opportunities for our backs
