Broncos Song:

LET’S GO…...LET’S GO……. LET’S GO THE “BRONCOS”
LET’S GO THE BRISBANE BRONCOS WHERE THEY CAN THE MIGHTY BRONCOS

and the only word anyone knows is "Broncos"

In all honesty it doesnt matter what club you're talking about, the supporter participation in this Country is pathetic.

Try being at Anfield when they sing "You'll never walk alone" or the Boleyn Ground when they sing "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" - it makes the hairs on your neck stand on end.

Bulldogs team song is "We are the mighty Bulldogs". Played after every home victory:

We are the Mighty Bulldogs
The Canterbury breed
We play it hard
We play it tough
We're the greatest in the league

We got a mighty pack of forwards
And a line of leading backs
When that whistle blows
You all will know
As we leave them in our tracks

So come on Mighty Bulldogs
Let's show them how it's done
with our power, speed and Bulldog Breed
We'll keep them on the run

We got a mighty pack of forwards
And a line of leading backs
When that whistle blows
You all will know
As we leave them in our tracks

So come on Mighty Bulldogs
Let's show them how it's done
with our power, speed and Bulldog Breed
We'll keep them on the run

Is it me or do only Cronulla and South Sydney fans sing their team songs with pride at home matches?
A few questions.
Funny you ask, the Bulldogs fan website had a similar topic this week.
Do Melbourne have a song...about a storm?
Yes, they do: http://www.melbournestorm.com.au/default.aspx?s=club-song
Do ST George include a steeler marching in, as well ?
Nope, just the Saints go marching in.
Does the Brisbane song really have a banjo solo?
No idea.
Do the Bulldogs players sing "who let the dogs out' after wins?
Nope, our club song is We Are the Mighty Bulldogs - see my post above. Also downloadable off the club website.
Is Penriths song really ACdc's "Highway to hell'?
No idea
Do Manly still sing that horrible version of Eagle Rock by that freak Marcia Hines?
Pretty sure they don't sing the Marcia Hines version. Even then they probably have another club song.
IS the Cowboys team song still Blurs"song # two"?
http://www.cowboys.com.au/default.aspx?s=cowboys-songs not Blur, no.

In the Michael Jackson version all the hair is in his mouth.

Tension's running high
It shows on every face
The coach runs through the game plan
You're in the finals race
The first up tackle hurts you
And tomorrow you'll be sore
But the only thing that's on your mind
Is you're close enough to score.

Go the mighty Panthers
Let's put them to the test
Go the mighty mountain men
We're here to be the best
Go the mighty Panthers
There's a chance here to be great
Go the mighty Panthers, all the way.

Years of dedication
And the guts to see it through
There can only be one winner
And you dreamed it could be you
The crowd becomes a blur now
And the noise a muted roar
Penrith's broken through the line
There's another chance to score.

Go the mighty Panthers
Let's put them to the test
Go the mighty mountain men
We're here to be the best
Go the mighty Panthers
There's a chance here to be great
Go the mighty Panthers, all the way.

Years of dedication
And the guts to see it through
There can only be one winner
And you dreamed it could be you
So go the mighty Panthers
It's your turn to be great
Go the mighty Panthers...
Yes! Go the mighty Panthers all the way!

Weeellllll....

The Broncos are our name
Through the north we won our fame
Being handy with the ball

And we drove the blues insanse
And we put on a move
And we scored a certain try
So sing out our alibi

You didn't know we had to beat ya
And we're so sorry my friends
You didn't know we had to beat ya
And we'll never do it again

The Warriors used to have this awesome song 'Matter of Faith' which featured some of the boys singing (Fa'afili, cant remember the rest). Haventt heard it anywhere for a while though. Now they run out to Let it Rock- Kevin Rudolf. But I do know that they have a song that thhey sing in the sheds after a win

Steelers had a couple of interesting songs;

Old one:
C'mon mighty Wollongong, for the Illawarra Steelers
Can't go wrong with the men so strong
we're going to give em the taste of steel

etc etc

Followed by the lamer

Steelers, steel city soul
steel city muscle, give a little (clap-clap)
Hot hot steel running under their skin
Illawarra Steelers, playing to win

Can't remember full words of either

Had my first experience at Bruce stadium when Canberra played the warriors and the pre-game song was AWESOME!

I was laughing and the crowd were really getting into it! Great song IMO.

to suggest that saints don't sing their team song with any passion shows you are a waste of space.

no team in the comp sings likes saints fans.

What ever happened to the team songs?

In a land they call Victoria
where all true legends dwell
We're a champion rugby league team
and we sing a bit as well

We're a rough, tough bunch of bastards
and we show a bit of form
No one can defeat us, we're the mighty Melbourne Storm

We've taken on those *add team just defeated* c****
and we really gave 'em hell
And we could have scored a lot more points
when they rang the full time bell

We're a rough, tough bunch of bastards
and we show a bit of form
No one can defeat us, we're the mighty Melbourne Storm

I have been waiting many, many years to sing "Oh when the saints go marching in" in chorus with 70-80,000 other people on GF day, I don't mind waiting many more. That my friends will be a special day.
