Lisone is the chief ball player when they Warriors have an out the back backline move wide. It all starts with Lisone hitiing it up then firing a pass to SJ before the line

I'm not sure this really qualifies Lisone as a 'ball player' R&S

He gets the ball, runs toward the line, turns around a bit before contact and shovels (certainly not 'fires') the ball to SJ running around. It is neither particularly skillful nor deceitful, just moderately useful to slow down defensive sliding.

Surely 98.5% of NRL forwards, including the warrior's ones, could do this simple task effectively enough.

Haha yeah, it's an entirely meaningless play he does week after week. Doesn't engage the line, doesn't put on footwork, never looks like running it.

But Lisone has the ability to become a ball player. He used to infuriate me but I can see the efforts he's making.

Geez, I didn't want this. I don't dislike Kearney, I felt for him at Parra, I wanted him to succeed here.

We aren't far off Oz posting the dreaded eight word post he got so right in 2015:

We are not going to win another game.

even a broken clock and all that

I actually think Vete is a bit underrated, he's generally done better than Lisone and Gubb and Brodene gets automatic selection.

There's clear potential in him and Afoa, the others mentioned seem like they've offered all they've got

Yeah, I think his exodus is a little bit over the top.

I'd rather he just stick to hitting the ball up hard and playing the ball quickly.

Benji will have a blinder no doubt. Same with the other several Kiwis they have selected that aren't normally in the team...

Ah well, at least if we lose again to finally absolutely undoubtly end another season we have the Lions tour to look forward to...

Boring, the ABs will whitewash the Lions, nothing's changed since the last time they toured apart from NZ getting even better. Or maybe I'm out of touch. Two tests in Akl, if Ch.Ch was up and running that wouldn't be the case but what was the excuse for ignoring Dunedin? Lack of accomodation for fans, I believe.

Back to the Warriors, why does every game this season feel like the most important one thus far?
