I’ve heard it all now. Garden Trellis on the Kaufusi tackle

“3rd man in is ok, that’s not a hip drop, that’s a Ronnie Coote, that’s a great tackle, that’s a Steve Mortimer, a great cover tackle, that there is how you teach your kids to tackle, shoulder, wrap the legs”
Gordon Tallis, the first confirmed CTE sufferer diagnosed pre-mortem, based not at all on brain scans but just by his general intelligence, or lack thereof.

If that tackle was on Walsh, or Payne Haas, you know his opinion would be different, which is why he sucks.

There are so many bizarre parts to his argument, but how the hell does he consider that a ‘cover tackle’ lol, he is comparing that to Scott Sattler in the GF ffs

I've given up trying to rationalise his nonsense. Him, Benny and a couple others are just on another planet.

I genuinely think their mental states are compromised and media companies need to consider moving them for their own good, and before they alienate more of their audiences.

I don't know man. I mean, I want to be furious but Seyfarth's was way worse and I just don't know what more Crichton could have done to avoid that.
Gone in with a wrapping motion and not driven slightly upwards with his shoulder. The tackle is fine if he doesnt slip, but they keep talking about protecting the head and the tackle action is risky.

But the thing is, their alienation is actually good for engagement. If they said rational things on there all the time - rugby union does this - it's boring. People like to react. Dum dum Tallis is actually good for ratings, as is drunky Buzz, and so on. I wish they'd get rid of Crawley, he's a weird cat. Gets way too angry about things that ultimately mean jack all.

It wasn't a cover tackle, it was a tackle where the guy was prone and OK, bring him to ground, but don't attack the legs when the ball carrier can't do anything about it. It was yuck.
