Gibbs out, Payten in doubt.
Not anymore, Gibbs confirmed out by Tigers website.I thought they were both maybes.... ??
Are you kidding, he has the ball handling skills of a lesbian. Every time he drops the ball its at a crucial time as well. Ryan might not be as flamboyant but he is a lot more reliable. Peni can go back to NYC until he can catch a ball, then I'll be up for him having another shot.
I think your the only person who cant see that Peni is the future for our wingers hahaha you dont play Australian schoolboys if you dont have that talent and he has shown it in bucketloads. Oh well each to his own, my 2 cents say Peni & TNT![]()
Peni is a spastic, just like you Spanky!I think your the only person who cant see that Peni is the future for our wingers hahaha you dont play Australian schoolboys if you dont have that talent and he has shown it in bucketloads. Oh well each to his own, my 2 cents say Peni & TNT![]()
On the few times Ryan has been guilty of running sideways it has been a result of the players inside. When we get hammered in the forwards and have no go forward the backline and Benji in particular gets the sideways shuffle and the poor bloke on the line has a mile of defense in front him so has to try and find space back in the middle of the park or surrender in the tackle.
I think you will find their will be space for both Peni and Ryan come 2009
Fair enough, just have to agree to disagree then hahaha. Ryan has never made 178 running meters & 16 hitups in 1 match before... Peni did it last weekend so i fail to see how you can say he is not ready for it or up to it but thats cool every sees the game differently i guess
Dont get me wrong i have no problem Ryan playing on the wings for now, he just needs to learn to run straight instead of sidewards and he will make much more of an impact for us.
The Bulldogs side we versed are not up to NRL standard either, against a quality side like Manly or Melbourne Tagive would get found out. He's got the potential no doubt, he just has a few too many errors in his game, and he makes them at crucial times.

Im really not trying to say Ryan isnt good enough for NRL level, cause i clearly agree with you he is !! My personal opinion is I just think Peni is the future thats allHaving said that i agree Ryan should be on the wing for the rest of this season... he has earnt it.
