Our best side by a country mile, my only change I would have tried to squeeze the bar fridge onto the bench in saying that finals games are won by forwards and defense and Flanagan has good line speed in D. So I think Sheens has done well. Good 17 with plenty of quality shdows

Get rid of Utai and McKinnon from the bench and that side looks fairly decent.

*EDIT* Er... and flick Fifita too.

That's a pretty awesome side, with most in season best form, going to a great game.

I think when Fifita has a go he Shits all over BMM. Bmm has had numerous chances but has shown jack im afraid. Anyway I doubt either will be in contention for a game .

Nothing wrong with utai on the bench. Don't think he is as bad as some make out.
Use him in short spells when they are looking tired.

He can still break tackles and carry 4 tacklers along for a ride.

That there is a mature football team. Ready to win a comp.

Well balanced with a liberal dash of brilliance in key positions.

Saints are strong across the board. How will this pan out? Will you try and grind like the prelim last year? Have you learned from it? Have you improved.

I say yes to all the above. Forget the Cronulla game. Shit is real now.

Good luck.

If Fifita is motivated by the thought of winning a comp before he heads off to where he can't, then I'd have him way before BMM, Flanagan or Woods. If I'm not wrong, he hasn't been sighted in first grade for ages and still has the the most line breaks of any Tigers forward.
Just my opinion.

Could we see a finals masterstroke from the mastercoach and a mobile bench consisting of:

McKinnon
Utai
Brown
Flanagan
Why are you giving him ideas?

Flanagan would be unlucky to miss out, been very strong since the call-up. Woods and Groat are the obvious benchies which leaves either Brown, Utai or McKinnon. I think Sheens will lean towards Utai for the simple reason he can bring him on late in the game when we need some hard straight running and use him as a forward.

Heard Mr Sheens on the radio this morning with TK...dont think Lawrance is quite the 100% certainty as yet...will know after last training session Thursday night at ANZ.

If Chris is ok, my gut feel is that he will go for a bench of Utai, Brown, Groat and Woods for some reason.
