Sorry R20
I don't think AJ will be fullback, I think we will go to market
Tbh I would not be surprised for us to have a big clean out like Manly last year to free up serious funds for some real gun first graders

Players like Nielsen, Auva'a, Tyrrell, Turner, McInnes etc..... Are still on contract. That's the problem.

I have heard we are chasing Mead. I don't think he is the answer.

Being on contract means bugger all really ,if you are given the tap on the shoulder and told ur not wanted would u really want to stay and give your all?. Na
Most of the manly players moved on were on contract still
It's Richos job to sort out all that stuff

Depends on the player. Might not be in their best interest to move on. You can't just force a player to move on if they don't want to. Ever heard the case of Winston Bongarde in English soccer?

It's like staying in a marraige when your mrs has told you she doesn't love you and doesn't respect u or want to be near you
Are you still going to want to stay???
Bloody sure I wouldn't

Yet for players off average ability on big long term contracts, it's money they may never see again. Then you have a situation where you are paying part of a contract for a player to be playing elsewhere, which rarely work out well.

Mead is also nearing the end of his career

Mead is 27 still got a coupla years left , he played FB in city country and had a really good game he is dieing to play FB others eg raiders are not offering FB we are money he is on isnt much we have offered more to shift him we are also considering penriths will smith who when deputising for moyland plays good attacking football and is languishing in reserves i think he woul f be a cheaper option but a good one

Johnston - Stick To The Structure

Rabbitohs winger, Alex Johnston, knows that if his side sticks to their structure, they are capable of winning any match – something they will be looking to prove against the Penrith Panthers on Friday night.
After a string of disappointing results in recent weeks, Johnston believes that his side needs to improve upon the execution of the game plan provided by Head Coach, Michael Maguire.
“We need to turn around how we’re playing. I know if we hold the ball and follow the structure that Madge has given us, we’ll win,” said Johnston.
Johnston – who has scored 7 tries from his 8 games in 2016 – also highlighted the importance of discipline leading into the Round 16 clash with the Panthers.
“Penalties against us at the moment is something we really need to work on, it’s hurting us a lot and it’s something that we’ll address this week.”
Despite the issues that were evident against the Eels in Round 15, the Red and Greens displayed some high quality football for periods of the match, but were unable to sustain the performance for the duration of the encounter – something that the Rabbitohs winger knows all too well.
“It’s just about playing it for 80 minutes. I think it’s more of a mentally working to continue that performance for the full 80.”

This is the same thing we hear every week. We can beat anyone yet we've been flogged by Tigers twice and Roosters once.
Saying were capable of winning a game would be a lot more believable than winning any game.
