No Lee in the mix... Hmmm

I suspect Capewell is there in case Beale is not good. Paulo may still be the backup hooker.

Lee would be another obvious option, and not being in the 21 (after a decent showing for Newtown, at least this week) virtually seals his fate, you'd think. He may get a shot in Origin weeks.

I hope Capewell is not cover for Beale.

Would only make our attack clunky.

He's a second rower and that's it.

How Beale keeps Edrick out is beyond me. Beale is just a passenger in the team.

I prefer Capewell out of the centres too, but Flanno has done it before and sticks to what he knows.

Lee had a poor first game with us, but improved and was good for Newtown. He was good last year too, for most games, despite Raider's fans protestations. He has some off moments, but so does Beale. Both are OK fringe first graders, but if they are in poor form (like Beale is at the moment) the other should be used to put pressure on them.

jessie ramien should get the next crack if we need a starting centre. even jordan drew being able to string some games together looks to have picked up his game and desire a bit. i dont know why you'd swap Beale for Lee. he hardly looks interested

Agree on Bessie, watched him against Newcastle he was super at right centre. Couple of try assists and think he crossed for one himself.

I don't get it, Lee named as fullback last week but played 2 minutes there and then went back out to the wing. This week guess where he is named again?

Apparently Pennies are giving Cartwright right up until Sunday to see if he can play.

You really sense the desperation from the Panthers for this match.

We better be up for it because they surely will be fired up.

Beale out, apparently has a hamstring injury.

http://www.sharks.com.au/news/2017/04/15/nrl_19_man_squad_v_p.html

1- Valentine Holmes
2- Sosaia Feki
3- Jack Bird
4- Ricky Leutele
17- Kurt Capewell
6- James Maloney
7- Chad Townsend
8- Andrew Fifita
9- Jayden Brailey
10- Matt Prior
11- Luke Lewis
12- Wade Graham
13- Paul Gallen
Interchange
14- Jayson Bukuya
15- Chris Heighington
16- Jeremy Latimore
18- Tony Williams
19- Joseph Paulo
21- Fa’amanu Brown

Don't imagine Capewell will play wing.

I'd move Bird to FB, Lewis to centre and Leutele to the wing with Capewell to the bench/second row? Only thing that makes sense to me.

Edrick can't be selected to play which is shit. Cleary will bomb our wingers all day.

This 21 man squad thing is dumb.

We have a winger in reserves that should go in but can't, yet you have a few players named for no good reason.

Beale got injured last week?
If they thought that he may struggle to be ready, Why did not name Edrick in the 21?
Maybe he is not ticking all the boxes during the week!
