So what's up with Johnson? Hopefully not the groin he looked to be stretching out after that foot race with Cronk.

If he doesn't play, then who covers him? What about:

1. Lolohea
6. Townsend
7. Tomkins

Tomkins supposedly played as much halfback as fullback in his Wigan days, especially in his last season with them. Actually I think both he and Johnson should be in the halves anyway, with Lolohea at fullback. Townsend can sit and watch from the sidelines.

If Johnson if out: either Lolohea to the halves and Fish to the wing, or Fish to fullback and Tomkins to the halves. Either option is good.

Johnson said on Twitter that him leaving training was a minor thing and he will play

I bloody well hope so. I can see Wright getting owned by SKD and Ferguson on that left side. And they've also got Townsend defending between them.:crazy::crazy:

I just hope Manu is fit as he really only seemed 80% since coming back from missing a game or two through injury earlier this year.

It's pretty much tradition for Manu to pick up a niggling injury, miss a few games, scrape his way through another 5-6 games looking pretty dodgy, come back to peak fitness, pick up a niggling injury again, etc.....

Uh... Wright was excellent on defence last week.

Marking a guy who's played probably 5 NRL games at best?

Koro tore Wright a new ring earlier in the year, and just like my nickname sake Penrose I can see it happening v a pair of attacking forces like SKD and Ferguson. I'm not saying Manu is Fort Knox but I'd be a lot more comfortable if he was there. Don't think for a second that the Roosters aren't going to test it out that way.

The situation is getting tight for Manu to leave the game with a NRL premiership. I can't think of too many players at least as good, or better, who didn't (those that had long careers in the NRL).

Ettinghausen jumps in here. Stacey Jones of course. There'd be a whole stack during the 1960s when St. George won everything.
