i notice Lumelume's been named at 22 in reserves.. i would definately be running him in place of Feki before bronson if saia is out. Xerri in the centres and duges to fb perhaps? wing for wing, centre for centre assuming these injurys.

best cowgirls team ive seen so far bar JT

LumeLume was horrible last week for the Jets. Not sure if he just had a bad game as I've not seen much of him before but based on that performance I doubt he would get a call up.

I second that Chewsta.

Did you see LumeLume drop that easy bomb?

He looked like he never jumped for a ball in the air before.

It’s a bloody worry if he gets called up sooner rather than later.

Incidentally the winger who played in the trials Ronaldo Mulitano got a hat trick in Jersey Flegg. One to keep an eye on.

I did mate, it was cringeworthy. all the time in the world and he had no idea what to do. hands above his head like he was being robbed at gunpoint! I Kinda felt bad for him but it was pretty funny at the same time. poor bugger.

The entire left side was absolute trash for the jets

Lumelume never impressed me on the 20s, seemed always solid at best.

Katoa on the other hand led in pretty much all the stats you wanted from a winger. Tries, line breaks, tackle breaks.

Shows the difference in first grade required. I’m still optimistic on Katoa. Need to quit the red cordial plays and work on his speed a bit.

I’ve seen some good games from lume, and am hopeful for him longer term. Didn’t see last week tho...

1. Need a much better start than last week, or we will be down 18-0 after 10 minutes.
2. The back row as a unit need to be much better than they have shown so far.
3. I am not a Katoa fan at all, I would replace him.
4. It annoys me immensely when there is an opportunity for second phase play with a huge gap and the team is already setting up for the next tackle.

Can you work on speed? Either got it or ya dont

With the exception of Sj, our backs aren't blessed with a whole lot

Yes you can. Whether you can effectively improve it in-season is a different question.

My issue with Katoa is that it seems like he looks for the flashy play or just makes things difficult for him. One of his tries last week, he literally took extra steps to score by the corner post when he didn't need to.

Yeah agree....his height bothers me tbh...will no doubt get a workout this weekend by Morgan.
