The Sharks at the start of the year were a well oiled machine but now the machine is falling apart. Our Defence is dreadful. Our Attack has a lot to be desired.

I dont really think our attack is all that bad, mainly just a case of pushing STUPID passes when they're not on and putting undue pressure on ourselves. Would also be great to quicken up the play-the-ball to get a roll on like I know we can do. I've seen us do it before.

I agree the defence needs to be looked at. I can't stand it when wingers stand in and leave their opposition man on his own. Not that it happened tonight, but its just a pet hate of mine!

I'm confident we'll bounce back and beat the Tigers big time, providing we dont kill ourselves again with missed tackles and uncompleted sets. If we can keep it reletively simple and do the basics right we're right in this comp.

Can someone explain how Bird deserves yet another chance? He's been with us for 4 years and still hasn't produced the goods. He's had about 40 minutes (Panthers) of good football this year. No sorry, time to bite the bullet and send the wonder child back to where he can shine - PL.

Same for Sully. It was 4 weeks ago when people were saying give him another chance. Well he's had them. Back to reggies for him as well.

Pelo and Merritt don't even play in those positions, they can't learn the patterns in a week of training. Pelo's leaving as well so as good a winger as he is it's going to take a lot of injuries for him to get a run, especially as he is presently in the Jim Beam Cup team!

Merritt would get pummelled at 6 IMO. He's a small man who gets low on confidence and is very nervy. Too much pressure to put on him.

Remember the Parra game with a messed up left side? Awful.

The only one I presume unavailable is Mellor.

I agree with Dumas, we need some starch. Kingston yes as well.

I just think the coaches need to look at things outside the square a bit more & stop taking the easy option & slotting in Bird & sully wherever.

We have a 5/8 problem with Dykesy gone. We need a solution. Who would make the best 5/8 in the club of the players we have left?
Hands, vision, fitness, defense, organiser. = Peach.

Now, who is the next best fullback in the club? = Merrit, Aitken, Simmons in that order.

Front row for Stevo? Relentless human wrecking ball. WE dont have another. make up for it on the bench.

Hooker. Who is the best in the club. I will say Kinga by far on his PL form. Great DH with vision. sensashe defender.

& just find a spot for Doom for the fans.

Sully needs time in PL, that is almost a unanimous verdict. Isemonger needs to stay there. This is assuming both Hilder and Dyksey are both still injured. Kingston NEEDS to start.

I will put all my thoughts in one thread. Williams was our best, Galloway, Bird and Ise were shocking and should go from their current spots. Some others were ordinary but have put in enough good showings to survive.

Hutch and Sully have been good off the bench at times so that's where they should be. Bird has been in decent form as a backrower. He needs to get back to running and tackling and abandon any plans of being a 5/8. If we lose Nuts, Thommo would be good replacement as he appears to have a similar work rate.

Aitken at 5/8th is the way to go IMO, as is Kingston at hooker.

Bird should be replaced on the bench by Dumas.

So 99% of us can see that we need are specialist hooker with the most obvious choice being Kingston. Why does'nt this kid get his chance stu? We are at a time when we have to test our depth in some positions and this is the perfect time for this kid to get a crack. From most reports he is going great guns in premier league, but then again PL means shyte just ask Merrit. By over looking him the only thing Kingston will do is go elsewhere.
