This is actually the side I wanted.
In terms of McFudd, the sort of analogy I'd use is he set off from Auckland looking to arrive in Tauranga later that day. He missed the turnoff after the Bombays, continued heading towards Hamilton and refused to concede he was off course. Went through Taupo and realised he'd got it all wrong, then headed back towards the coast. Got his bearings wrong again and saw the big 'welcome to Whakatane' sign. He cut his losses and stayed in a budget hotel for the night, then got up the next morning, fired up the car (running low on petrol at this stage and particularly road weary) and hugged the coast - which luckily carried him north to his original destination. Of course on arrival, he declared all well.
That's basically Tui's season. One big f**ked up Tiki tour.
