Suprised that morgan was shifted to the wing before blair.

Makes sense, Blair has been playing down the right hand side, why switch him to the left when you can just moved Morgs out wider? Plus they obviously want Blair to belt Tahu.

So is Burt on the outer when hayne comes back or will Morgan be dropped after some good form over the last few weeks. Big call coming up for Kearney or is it safe to say tonga will get injured again

If one of them plays crap vs Knights then I would imagine its an easy decision

Hopefully fires up both lads to have screamers and another Parra win

Good looking team for this game... Hayne out, W Tonga in seems the best result (glad E. Tonga didn't wangle his way in instead!). Surely only one of Paulo or Reni can fit in the 17... Paulo did OK last week, so it's hard to change that line-up imo. Will probably depend if anyone in the forwards is carrying a niggling injury?

I'm surprised that Tonga hasn't played more left centre when he wasn't injured as this is his more natural position. With Blair playing well on the right it is better to put Tnga where he playe better.

Maybe so Morgan doesn't think he's place in the team is assured after 1 very good performance last week? he needs to really earn his place in the side. Besides Burt has earned his farewell tour in FG, no one can deny that
Don't get me wrong...I don't begrudge Burty a fair crack. But I think has Morgan's form over the past 4/5 weeks has been fairly solid, and I think his effort has always been pretty good. Dunno whether he has the raw talent, but we won't find out if he's playing for Wenty.

Good luck for the game guys...Newcastle lifted this week (for whatever reason) but I reckon the Eels should give them a run for their money as they are far from being consistently good enough. With the wooden spoon in mind they may try to repeat but I reckon the Eels have the team to pull this one out of the bag :thumb

Well not a bad side considering we just got over the line over Penruff. Gotta be consistent in this game and not get too carried away.

I like Kelly started at 5/8 thought he did good. Morgan out on the wing wont be a problem, I think he played there a few games last year and played better.

Wouldnt surprise me to see Maitua get a run ahead of Lasalo.

I'm not, I think Morgan is more a winger then a centre and Blair is more a centre (even though they came into grade the other way).

Morgan gets lost in defence in the centres IMO, he is too easily gets sucked into the middle and even though is a good tackler he is a poor read of defence. Blair on the other hand reads defence much better and hits like a semi-trailer. Also Blair is more likely to beat his man one-on-one while Morgan needs to be put into the clear.

IMO Morgan has some very good attributes and is pretty quick but he is better suited to the wing, I'm just unsure about his ability under the high ball. I just hope Tonga gives him some good service.

Bench should be Paulo, Matuia, Allgood and Fui. Matuia is much better then lasalo and we dont need a utility with Smith, Matuia and Paulo in the team

If Blair switches to the left for Tonga to play right centre, Kearney has well and truly lost the plot. Hopefully that isn't the way it will turn out.

I agree, big call, but to me - even considering Morgan's improved form - Burty should be retained and Morgan to drop back - for now. That's if Tonga can make it through a game mind you ;-)

Very difficult decision. And then consider that Morgan`s form has been slightly better than Blair`s in the last two games. Should Blair be the one dropped? If I was the coach, I`d drop Burt - simply because Burt won`t be here next year and the other two will.
