They can't retire Burt early or play him in Wenty for our last 3 home games. They've just advertised 3 game membership packages for Hindy's and Burty's last 3 home games. They even named the opponents so there's no loophole for it to be our next 3 home games for example.

what a professional club

don't see that shit in other sports, if the coach or players aren't performing there given the boot....

Tonga was bad, but I wouldn't be dropping Tonga over Burt seriously.

Exactly. You forgive a star player a bad game when they've just returned from injury SURELY?

It's possible that SK isn't dropping Tonga, but just wants to avoid the media circus that surrounds the axing of Burt (for some reason...)

Imagine the media frenzy if he drops a club stalwart that is retiring at the end of the season. There's already been a news article about Kearney putting Willie on the bench. I'm a big Burt fan but he is the weakest link in our backline at the moment.

Morgan had a cracker 2 weeks ago at centre and scored 2 try's. I think it's a brave and correct move to let Willie have a week in Wenty to get his fitness up and then see how we go.

I have no issue with Burt on the wing. That's not our biggest problem at all.

The question isn't "Morgan vs Tonga"

The question is "who gets dropped to make room for Hayne"

For some reason the answer seems to be "W Tonga" who was playing just his first game back from injury.
Burt was quite poor on the weekend, and his on field body language was terrible after he missed that tackle. I can't see why we'd play him over Tonga for any reason save "political"

Mannah in doubt.

Personally I hope they opt for a player other than Lasalo and Tautai. As Hindy said in the Bigpond interview with Gibbsy, they should be looking towards next year now.
Sweet, cant wait to see Lussick line up for the eels this weekend :D

That's right, nicely put.

Hopefully it goes ahead this time, although getting blooded in a game like this could destroy a youngster's career before it really has a chance to start
