Team vs Raiders first final

CRONULLA captain Paul Gallen is in doubt for the club’s qualifying final blockbuster with Canberra at GIO Stadium on Saturday.

The Sharks inspirational leader is struggling to overcome a back complaint suffered this week at training.

Gallen failed to board the team bus to Canberra which departed the Sutherland Shire just after midday on Friday.

However, it’s understood the Test forward is striving to continue his rehabilitation and travel down to the Nation’s Capital separately on Saturday morning, in time for the 5.30pm kick-off.

Gallen’s omission would prove an obvious blow for the Sharks, who are already outsiders with bookmakers to beat the high-flying Raiders.

If Gallen is unable to recover in time, it’s anticipated that rangy forward Kurt Capewell would come onto Sharks coach Shane Flanagan’s bench.

So they played Saturday night.
Sunday recovery
Monday would of been light training
Team named Tuesday with Capewell in it as 18th
Now this story

Don't believe it. More likely to do with the neck injury/burner or whatever he suffered in the Storm game

If Gallen is indeed out, it will be the final wheel in the "biggest falling of wheels" the club has ever performed. Never seen anything like it, and I've been around a while.

It wasn't so long ago that a lot of people were saying that we play better without Gal.
Times have changed
I understand why,
as always its the lack of size factor,
and Gal is our extra prop.

If only I had ordered one of feej's hats this injury would have been avoided.
They're selling like hotcakes!

So much in fact, that I'm branching out into home renovations:

The dude runs into brick walls all season and doesn't get hurt.

How the F do you hurt your back at training?

I feel sorry for the media if Gal is out. How can they possibly overhype a hit by Papali if Gal isn't on the field?
