he said he doesn't care because he's outta here in a fortnight.
then corrected himself and said 4 weeks
Yep I heard that, I said to my wife did you hear that he said he doesn't care I think the day he announced his retirement he hasn't performed at all, and here we are getting worried over this shit....

Obviously the best path to win this week and rest the nigglies for the qualifier.Happy to see Capewell go around instead of Paulo....seems to have a bit of an awkward running style that may cause a problem or two imo.

Everyone stop posting. Just go out and neck yourselves now and put yourselves out of the obvious misery you are all in.

Bunch of negative nancies.

If this online populus of Sharks fans is in any way in line with the greater cohort of Sharks fans NO FEKKING WONDER a losing culture pervades the club.

90% of you have this game as lost already.

Its all very VERY psychiatric.

Leave a nice note when you do yourselves in.

Talk about taking something harmless and changing it's entire context and meaning.

FFS he didn't say "I don't care" meaning about the club, winning etc. He clearly only meant he doesn't care about the captains challenge

You people have the hide to slam journos in here. pppphhhhhhhttttttttt

Keep up with the self handicapping, it will be sure to soothe your battered psyches if the team does lose a game.

SHARKS star Michael Ennis had an unfortunate Freudian slip during Tuesday night’s filming of Fox Sports’ NRL 360.

The retiring menace’s slip of the tongue suggested the 32-year-old may already have one eye on retirement ahead of his team’s blockbuster qualifying final clash with the Raiders at GIO Stadium on Saturday.

Ennis’ small brain fart did not go unnoticed by his fellow panel members, who seized on the opportunity to give the serial pest some of his own medicine.

The NRL veteran was asked to share his opinion on the merits and pitfalls of introducing the trialled captain’s challenge for the 2017 season, when he may have revealed a little too much.

“Mate, introduce what you like, I’m out of here in a fortnight,” Ennis said, before realising his error.

He then quickly blurted: “Four weeks.”

The damage was already done.

Ennis’ “fortnight” comment will almost certainly be re-visited if the Sharks fail to win the club’s first NRL grand final, especially if they are bounced out in straight sets with back-to-back losses in the next fortnight.

Well I'm glad we've lost the last month and a half.
Any win now will be tottally unexpected .

We've had a great year and we haven't got our hopes up at all.

It's ok we made the top 4 that was our goal at the start of the year.. ;)

There's nothing wrong with that. Other teams goal would of been to make the 8. Newcastles goal was probably to win 6 games or something.

Thats the short term goal and its been achieved. Now the quest to achieve the long term goal starts.

I expect Dr Jekyll to become Mr Hyde this weekend.
