We have broken a few hoo-doos this year - so hopefully beating the Sharks at Parra could be another one.

First win at Brookie in how many years, first win in Townsville etc............

Ha ! Last time the Sharks lifted to avoid a record losing streak. Guess what - they've got another milestone this week.

Cronulla will be looking to avoid a club record 11 consecutive away losses.

If tahu is out for SOO, who do u think will get a run, finch or barrett? god knows why they r both in camp, especially finch, maybe bellamy getting his own way with another melbourne player in camp???.. i hope they go with barrett from both an eels and NSW perspective!

Barrett has already been named as shadow for Tahu.

Barrett to 5/8, Lyon to centre.

It was Michael Sullivan that tried to kick a field goal when we were 54-4 up, I remember we had the whole possession from 24-4 to 54-4.

David Peachey got sinbinned then sent off after blowin up at Hayne for the dominant tackle rule

"David, dont wave your hands at me"
"Shayne this is how i talk"

Then Dale Newton got sent off for a high shot.

Danny Nutley got binned for a strip.

So at that stage they were down to 10 men.(dont think any other team were down to that many players, apart from probably us against Newcastle in 02 when Bill lost the plot).

I must admit Hayne did have a shocker, but the Sharks were terrible regardless, too much drop ball, dumb penalties.

I remember the peach got sin-binned and would not go and thus got sent off. Peachy was very disruspectful to Hayne even thou Hayne loss the plot the shark deserved what they got IMO.

Best thing from an eels point of view not Tahu or the Blues, is that T is ruled out of origin and does not play this week hopefully meaning he will be fully fit for the big games against the Dragons and Storm and Barrett plays for NSW and not for the sharks this week.

From what I read it wouldn't be impossible for tahu to be ruled out of blues ie if can't run today, nut be fit by weekend. That could theoretically make hi
available and Barrett not. Or is there a rule against that?

Late mail: Albert Kelly is on standby for Trent Barrett if Tahu is ruled out. Guru's knee is not 100% but is expected to play.
