As much as people like to shit on Mullen he wouldn't have wasted half of the opportunities Gidley and Roberts did today. They're deadwood that along with Houston and Fa'alogo kill EVERYTHING the side creates. Randell gave us the first bit of true spark we've seen all year and never once did we make the most of it. The more he gets his hands on the ball, the more chances he gets to run, the better.

House has played pretty solidly this season. Better than most. In all reality he deserves his spot. He gets singled out and it gets bit tedious when u consider he gives it his all. He has some daft moments but he is running a lot smarter lines nowadays.

Gives his all but it doesn't escape the fact that when he gets on the field the entire momentum the side built in the opening 15/20 minutes is gone along with Fa'alogo. They offer absolutely nothing and should be replaced. Even if the replacements don't make a difference, both of them have had their fair share of chances to lift their game and they haven't.

Randell NEEDS to continue in the starting team!! He (and Gags > fullback) has been the only bright spark this season.

Id still love to see him given a shot at 7, but even out of Dummyhalf id be happy. He seems to be the only bloke in teh team trying to reach beyond the minimum expected of him.

He attacks the line and he brings support with him fo the short passes. THAT is exactly what we need from our halfback ATM..

Leave Gagai at fullback and play Gidley at 7. For all the criticism Sione has gotten this year for not getting involved enough at the back Gidley hasn't done anything there either. It was amazing watching the fullback actually get involved like Gagai did yesterday. Gidley might produce some howlers in the halves but it couldn't be worse than what Roberts has been serving up.

Tonight Isaac Luke played off the bench because he wasn't playing at a high enough standard. This is Isaac Luke is is probably the 2nd best hooker in the world.

Id love to hear Wayne speak honestly about his time here and, if that rumour is true, you can understand why he'd say Rick (a central part of the culture) wasnt the best person for the job.

If Wayne was so sick of the boys club why did he do so much endorsing of Midley staying on as CEO? We have a huge issue with the boys club but I think the Bennett years made that worse not better frankly. It's been creeping back more and more since Smith left.

I now have no faith in Stone. To keep faith in the same players for 5 straight losses proves he doesn't set high standards of his players or makes them accountable.

It is so different with other highly regarded coaches who will relegate players for under performers and this must be a real kick in the guts for the reserve graders.
