If we lose to the Titans and Matt Roger scores or delivers the final pass to defeat us....I think I will jump in front of the 341 City Rocket.

The Titans will not beat us- their attack is woeful and Matt Rogers is way off being match fit. Titans bought a 5/8 from Newcastle but he has been woeful in Qld cup games hence Rogers contract is being registered so they can get an increase in crowd figures at the next (or so) Skilled park game when Matt rides back in. Their crowd numbers are down significantly which is putting them under financial pressure.

Ugh, the table is not looking too pretty at the moment.

http://www.nrl.com/TelstraPremiership/NRLBaileyLadder/tabid/10251/Default.aspx

We are in 9th, with a -9 differential. 7th and 8th (Tigers, Panthers) are on equal points, 4 and 3 differential respectively. Bulldogs (equal points, terrible differential), Sharks and Rabbitohs (2 points behind) are all within easy striking distance if we have a couple of poor games.

We need to come out and absolutely thrash the Titans, or we're going to have some must-win games coming up just to make the 8...

The following games against Bulldogs and Rabbitohs (home, away respectively) are absolutely critical to our chances.

Hopefully the team is past the Cleary derailment and can get back into the winning groove.

I don't think 9th is a bad position to be in considering how awful we have been for the vast majority of this year. Who here thought we would be 9th at this point after 5 rounds?

Hopefully we can put on a second-half revival of sorts. Rapira and Ta'ai coming back in and Manu getting more and more back to his old self could have an extremely positive effect.

Yeah hopefully!
I think big Sam provides more leadership for the team than he is credited with. Fingers crossed that can make a difference.
And Ukuma's energy and aggro will definitely help!

Haha, fair enough man. Tupou is a likeable player and Mannering can certainly get the job done at 13.

Next two games are CRUCIAL - lose one and bar a miracle and I reckon we're done for the year. Tough run home for us :(
F/U Cleary this is your fault.

Taylor for me.

Like I said earlier, if we can't win our next two games at home then we don't deserve to be in the top 8. Only positive coming out of that scenario is that Cleary might get his marching orders sooner than later.
This bye week has been shithouse, feels like forever since our last game.
Looking forward to the lineup tomorrow.

He will be until Seymour is recovered. From there, who knows! Seymour had a pretty bad game so I'd hope Cleary will stick with SJ, especially since he's our future at 7, and hopefully Cleary still cares about our future!

Doubt it. Ivan probably wont have much more say in what goes on from now on.

Is SJ a lock to start the rest of the season?

Hopefully mate, and as leaguenut says, he's a halfback. Now, if you lot will just send Nafe back...

Thanks mate

Nafe has been looking really good for us lately, not sure though if he will ever be a 80min hooker
