Team vs Titans

I'm pretty sure Wicks played about as many games in NSW Cup as Fa'aoso (i.e. one). They're supposed to be ready for first grade by the end of the off season, unless they've spent two years doing nothing more vigorous than star jumps and riding a pushie.
Some versions of the Bible can be pretty heavy, I think. Not sure what type the Mormons carry, probably a travel version. Anyway, didn't realise Richie had had a game. How did he go?

So in the latest photos of the boys at training, it looks like the top 17 are in normal training t-shirts.
The Wenty/reserve players are in pink singlets...

Two players that popped out at me were Fa'aoso in a training shirt, and Tepai is in a singlet. Could Tepai be getting a week in Wenty? And Fa'aoso making a return to first grade?

pink always used to be used for players who couldn't do proper contact (ie injured) ... we're obviously breaking that pink girly can't take a tackle stereotype

also noticed a little red fella there - hope no one threw their water bottles at him

Really? I thought he played two weeks ago when he wasn't originally named, and played again on the weekend when named....?

RLW Late Mail

EELS v TITANS, Saturday, 3:00pm at Pirtek Stadium
Eels: Reece Robinson is expected to play after missing last week’s game with a calf injury while Ryan Morgan (concussion) is also tipped to play. Brad Takairangi (knee) is back running, but didn’t train with the full squad on Thursday and is unlikely to be a late inclusion.
Titans: Nate Myles (cork) completed training on Wednesday and will play. Agnatius Paasi (ankle) will have a fitness test during Friday’s captain’s run with the club hopeful he will play. Matt White is on standby. Daniel Mortimer (wrist) is aiming for next week or the week after. David Hala (knee) is fit to return, but will play Queensland Cup.

Morgs and Johnny were in the centers for the captains run this morning. By the looks of it, Richie will play.

Was Richie also in the Captains run? I'm hoping you're not deducing that because Morgs and Johnny were in the Centres that Richie will play, because I really do not see the correlation!

Who wasn't in the Captains run?

I wasn't able to make it. Norman stepped in for me at 6.
