I'd have made a decision between Saleh and Merritt, and played Russo from the bench.

Unless, of course, Merritt is not expected to be passed fit and Saleh is there just in case.

Saleh on the bench has got to be a guinness book of records job doesn't it. He's a _ucking winger FFS! Wouldn't Franze be a better utility back???????????????????????????????

I'm kinda glad McGoldrick is still in the side. THe Bulldogs will make him look really silly this weekend and this should be his deathnell!

I can't really see the point of having Saleh on the bench. Maybe when he comes on Bailey goes to the pack, and either himself or Reick moves into the centres. But I doubt either of them has much experience in that position.

The other thing is. We only looked sharp when Sullivan was at hooker. With a slow Bosnich starting there the quick rushing Dogs defence will give our runners no chance to get momentum.

I think you are being a little harsh on Lomu, Tadpole.
Yep he had a couple of handling errors last week, which cost us, but I really don't think he he deserves the pasting he has copped since then.

Give him a chance. He looks pretty dangerous with the ball. Maybe him and Galloway working together will be a master-stroke.

it is the second game, i will give raper a chance, he is the coach and MUST know what he was doing. After saturday i was dreading this game but now im keen to see how they go after probally the worst game of the weekend.

If Franze is not a better footballer than McGoldrick, then I must be on another planet. McGoldrick is solid , but theres a difference in class.

My taste in men is fine! Michael Witt is very good looking. The girls apparently drool over him out Parramatta way. And Sully speaks for himself.

Wow, so much negativity.

Saleh was easily our best back last weekend, and since he's big enough to fill in the second row, I'd say his inclusion on the bench is a fair one. Franze, by all reports, had a shocker in Premier League - why reward a poor performance with promotion?

Also very happy to see Raper didn't swing the axe after one poor game.

Very pleased with the squad.
