I guess you don't want to discuss the Sharks relocation which was "Just about to be announced" Maybe it was the same guy who gave you the tip that Saleh was a strong robust speedster????

Michael Witt is very good looking. The girls apparently drool over him out Parramatta way

Have you seen the other heads of the eels players??? Its a forced drool because Witt is the best they got....but that doesn't stand for much in the overall scheme........

ET was the good looks man....

"Just because you can admit that a man is good looking, doesn't make you gay!!" (Elaine Bennis)
"IT DOESN'T HELP!!!!" (George Costanza)

Just put it in the same basket as the 'Vagana a bulldog for life' comments..

He still maybe yet. He knows Terry Hill.

& BTW, I never ever said that the sharks would be relocating. The only thing I announced was that the principals were having involved meetings with the board.
& as it turns out, it is all part of the strategy to get a team on the Gold Coast.

Hope not. I can understand why it would be desirable to them though. I still think Peachey is going to have a massive year, just give him a chance. Merritt for the wing for a while just yet, remember, he hasn't played a game for us yet. Russo should be in the side.

The Eels also have John Morris, who is very hot too. But they do have some ugly players, Dykes is one that comes to mind. :)

Merritt may still have some injurie issues - Saleh to cover, Saleh also was second in hit ups last week so can certainly go on in that role. I think without Gallen they will use Bails as second rower for some periods with merrit / saleh to centre.

Maybe we are seeing a return to the old days of Lang's selection theory.

i.e. nobody gets dropped for a poor performance. You only get a crack through injury.

Contrast to Anderson who believed that dropping was a good punishment and/or motivation in response to a poor performance. Admittedly Anderson struggled in that he had nobody available in reserves to replace someone with.

I know Raper's been a long time his own man now, but perhaps his philosophy is more one of Langesque support for players, rather than harshness?

I think it's a good chance that he is using Bailey as a forward in the second half. McGoldrick may have done nothing last week but his defence was second to none and he should mark up on Sonny.

I really don't think Rapes should be making wholesale changes after one game.

Yep, we played pretty poorly no argument. But if you make changes every game players start becoming nervous about their spot in the team and begin playing for themselves, rather than the team.

I'm sure he's picked a multitude of areas for improvement this week and will be working on them for Saturday. Then it's time to reassess after that.

As has been stated elsewhere a few times there were no absolute standouts in divvy, so why promote mediocrity, it only promotes....errr.... mediocrity.

That said, there'll want to be vast improvement this week. But I'd still be hesitant to make many changes for next week, unless there are some absolute shockers in firsts, and some blinders in divvy. Shuffle the 17 a little maybe, but that's about it.

As far as I know, solid without being spectacular. The whole team was pretty ordinary though

I was disappointed with last weeks efforts, but agree that players shouldn't be axed after 1 game, especially as it was the first game of the season.

I think Lomu deserves another go in the starting line up. He did have a shocking game last week, but he can play a lot better than that and hopefully this week he will perform better.

Can't wait to see Galloway and Merrit out there

Teams still good. Raper wouldnt change it much after round 1.. Good to see Galloway get a start, i thought he was easily our best forward along with Stevens on the park last saturday.
