What a season has hit rock bottom for our famous red whites of the dragons even my 10 year old son he also plays league. To sit and watch the game each round this season together with my son i can see his pain in his eyes. His words to me Dad they suck and thats coming from a true young dragon supporter after last night's game its taken till this game for him to say enough is enough.

when I was a kid after the 99 grand final I threw my dragons jersey on the ground and walked away.. My dad got home, dragged me into the lounge room, made me pick the jersey up and sat me down and his words were "don't ever disrespect that jersey ever, you wear it with pride, win lose or draw"
From that day I understood the values of the red v, and the why we are such a proud club..
Talk to your kids, explain to them why and how you first became a dragon..

This isn't about that, you supported a losing team that was well run on and off the field, this rabble is isn't today.

I also heard Steve Linnane actually got sacked as a player when he threw a jersey after s loss in the sheds, that wouldn't happen today either our coaches, players and board don't respect the Red V and I find it hard to ask my kids to respect them.

I may say though.. Tears mean the kid has a lot of passion for the club

The way things are going no joy for him soon.
I've seen us in 6 GF for 2 wins, my kids 2 for 1 but the difference between then and now is there were lots of good years in between - last 5 years and near future is sad.

We are not going to win a grand final anytime soon, it appears that we have some outstanding juniors on the way up, time to sign these players to long term contracts and rebuild around them, we can't buy any decent players so it's time to invest in our juniors and maybe in two or three years we can be successful again

The board does not care about rugby league, they also do not care about the St George Illawarra Dragons either because if they did, their resignations would of already been tendered after the last 4 years of total debacle.
