Saw this last weekend at an advanced screening and as of today it's released nationwide.

Probably being a tad biased because I'm a huge Family Guy fan but it was some of the funniest shit I've seen in a long while.

MacFarlane uses his standard formula of taking something typically cute and innocent e.g. a baby or a dog (in this case a teddy bear) and anthropomorphising it with hilarious results.

I saw it on Sunday and was suitably impressed. It's not often you laugh at newly released movies these days.

I hate family guy with a passion, but got dragged along to see this and surprisingly enjoyed it. It didn't follow the same stale formula we see in Family Guy and was a pretty enjoyable flick.

I thought it was hilarious. I was a bit worried, comedy movies these days have a habnit of putting all the funny scenes in their trailers, that wasn't a problem for Ted, laughed through pretty much the entire film.

Really? Dude it was pretty much family guy in real life. Similar jokes

Except you didn't see the same joke repeated 20 times over the course of an hour and a half. The movie had a flow to it, Family Guy is like a skit show, one ridiculous scene to the next with little tying them together.

I'm not that big on Family guy but this was hilarious. Ted (the bear) is pretty much Brian and Stewie mixed together.

There were quite a few obscure references that went over most of the audiences heads though. Kind of annoys me when the more subtle clever jokes are missed but everyone goes nuts at Ted whipping Whalberg's ass with a TV antenna.

Like the pisstake of the Staying Alive scene from Flying High for instance.
